I had a scary experience a couple of weeks ago when I wrote my car off (1 month old) with my LB inside - I swerved for a dog. If it hadn't been for him being properly buckled in his seat he would have been flung all around the car. It was the scariest thing when the car was still uncontrolled and there was nothing I could do but look back and hope to God that he would be ok. I was horrified to learn that if we had been in any other vehicle we probaby wouldn't have made it as the vehicle really should have flipped and rolled.
The moral of the story: learn from my experience and control the instinct to swerve to avoid something like a dog. Always be totally vigilent in ensuring baby is properly buckled in.
