We also have the bumbo & love it...

As others have said it's awesome to feed as Tori is too small for a high chair. She loves to sit in the kitchen with me while i cook... Other than that she's on the floor or in her walking ring...

I don't know what i wouldn't done without it!

I loved mine. Used it for both my Kids but only for certain purpose .. feeding or going out to a restaurant or picnic or beach. I qualified as a BabyGym instructor and as Julz said it is not the best to put your baby in it for any other reason really. Tummy time is the very best you can do. Rather invest in a decent play Gym and have baby learn to sit on that with Pillows around if necessary. Another thing you could do is take a 2 litre icecream tub and position it between babies legs in a sitting position with their tummies floped over the tub and pillows behind incase they fling themselves backward. You will see that after a while baby will start trying more and more to sit upright and will eventually get it rights as well as have great posture.

I love the Bumbo seat! Bought a green one for little girl with tray been putting her in it since 3andhalf months and she still sits in it occasionally. Used It mostly for feeding and taken it with on many picnics and outings when she couldnt sit on own. It def saved me from buying a high chair! With my lb on way hopefully he can use it too.

we still use ours now and then but we mostly keep it in the car in case the restaurant does not keep baby chairs ... so handy!!!! She also likes to sit out in the garden in her bumbo ... she can also wriggle and twist herself out of it so we always keep her on ground level!

I must be honest and say I really coveted one - and my friends hunted a pink one down for me, with a tray, but the reality is that I probably used it all of 4 times.

It's a nice to have, but for most just not a necessity.
