Bumbo Seat

I love my bumbo seat, used it from 3 months I think, but couldn't use it for very long cause my LB is a little porker...
case in point:


But while I was able to get him into it, it was really helpful, I fed him in it, he would sit in it while I was taking a shower and what was nice is I would put all his toys around him and he would sit and play...
I got it as a gift and I was REALLY grateful for it.

I'm anti them. A lot of doctors and chiropractors don't like them as they encourage bad sitting posture. It's probably not doing any harm occasionally tho

I am also not a huge fan of the bumbo any more. I use it every now and then. But because G is a skinny baby I find if I put him in it just after a feed, he ends up puking a bit which he never does other wise. And where he normally holds himself up nicely in the Bumbo he flops.

Defiantly I find not designed for skinny babies, maybe its just G. Yaz if you are going to the meet you can try my bumbo out, take it for a week and see if she likes it?

But I must say I find it helpful when cooking supper as I can pop him on the kitchen counter. He sits better in it if there is stuff infront of him to keep him busy.

I've had the bumbo seat for a 3months now. And my LG is now 5months and we use it most days. i have her with me around the house when she's not in her baby sling. so its quite useful. even had it at the beach. but i do agree, use it in moderation, not for too long periods.

I received a bumbo for my baby shower and I hardly used it at all. My son would sit in it for very short periods. It was handy if I needed to do something very quickly but he really hated sitting in it.
