ROFL, Claire!!! You just can't escape the little terrorists. But I know it's karmic payback as I used to be one of those people who would roll their eyes whenever kids got on the same flight with us, or were seated at a table next to us at a restaurant etc! Boy do you get paid back in spades!

Oh during a tantrum I walk away and join the onlookers wondering "Where is that child's mother ?"
Then the brat comes and hangs on my leg and we slink / drag away to a quiet corner in shame

Sure, and it's even worse if your little "angel" is having a tantrum at the time! I must obviously be a bad mother or have a hooligan of a child! I can just see people looking around for the mall security sometimes

I now I am waiting for child services to pay a visit. The stares are clearly not from people with kids.

I lost count of how many times Liam has scraped himself off the floor, only to hop back on whatever he fell off.

And please do not forget the joys of going shopping with a little one whose legs are amost entirely black and blue, has a massive bump on the head and a scraped, scabby nose.
