Any advice on flying with a 3 months old baby

well Kiara first plane trip was good. I stressed a bit but she was good as gold. just finished her bottle before we took off, a while before as it was her feed time. gave her a dummy and she was perfect. was quite and the lady next to me even asked, if she cries. closed her eyes for 15 -20mins and was very good

shooh, was relieved. not everyone is understanding of kids on the plane

I flew with my baby when she was 3 months old I had her dummy and a bottle ready with me she screamed a little bit but I managed to put the bottle in everytime to keep her quiet. This was a 6am flight on our return she slept as we got on the plane.

I also flew with her last week and when we went she played with barney ate yoghurt and turned the magazine pages on our return she slept.

I must make mention that at all times my partner travels with me and then if the baby cries its all his lol.

All the best travelling with your baby but also remember that they will be other children on the plane so they will be noise

A pram helps esp when they get older
Sitting in the front really is better as there is more room for legs, baby bags, etc. Request it as they will not automatically book it for u.
Some flights do offer baby food like purity so u can check if its close to meal times but @ 3 months u prob wont need it.
Ruru normally sleeps thru the flight, ppl might disturb here & there but nothing hectic.

Having limited hand luggage is also great even if DH is there. The baby & baby bag shld b the hand luggage. Its really saves u time & hassles

The first time I flew with Jude to Jozi I tried the dummy thing on take off and landing. On landing (litterally), snot (tmi) shot out of his nose cos he was screaming so badly, I've never seen anything so excrutiating! He eventually passed out from crying so much.
I am a bf mom and he was refusing boob and bottle of water.
My BESTEST (really I've now done this a few times and it really does work) advise is to give a bottle JUST before they switch the engines off. (not as or after, BEFORE) (um my post is starting to look freakishly hostile, I think I'm being a little too passionate again.) Anyway, Jude loves the taste of formula (S26), it really does taste like vanilla shake, so he just drinks and drinks and on my last flight back from Durbs I caught it a little late and had to force him to take the bottle.
I think it's the swallowing that helps equalize the ears. Anyway we've had awesome landings ever since!
The actual flight is quite painfull, for me cos he's bigger and just wants to grab everything from the other passangers. (Thank goodness he's so super cute)

my one is a clever little thing

have to stand initially and rock her to sleep with dummy in mouth, i walk a bit then sit when she has stopped fighting her sleep. every sleep time is a fight

i can only give her a bottle when its her feed time

i wonder if they feel anything on a plane'

cars dont work for her either. does not being in her car seat when we take off.....maybe in time she will get used to it
