Charnenay the fussing over taking bottles also sounds like an ear infection. It probably hurts when she tries to suck.

And I agree Nurofen has probably saved my sanity!

I haven't taken C to a paed since she was about 4 months old. We always go the GP. I find that we get the same service for half the price and I can always get an appointment. Quite honestly, just my opinion, but I prefer the GP. I feel like I get more for my (less) money.

Good luck.

We had the same prob with our younges, he kept on 4 about 3 months, after taking him to the pead and having no medical probs, a friend sugested a higher pillow, and letting him sleep on his tummy, tried it and it worked wonders, he has been sleeping through since then.

also might have a bit of "slym" on her chest...it will explaine the fussyness with the bottle...

Just rings Jeanne. I managed to get an appointment with Dr, Kearner though. I was gonna go to the GP, but I just prefer that she rather gets a thorough check up because I am now remembering some other things that are bothering me as well, example: for the same time period, she has also been fussing with her bottle - she wants it, but then once she starts drinking she cries and then eventually she will take it after a fight. So, I'm thinking maybe something is wrong. So, I'll have more peace of mind if I know she was checked out by a pead.

Usually if a child is sick he can fit them in, just not sure if he's in on a friday afternoon - since he was attending to K's birth at 2pm on a friday?

Good luck friend I feel your pain! And I agree with the others seems nothing is settling her maybe a uti or ear infection.

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

She is cutting her 2 top teeth at the moment. 1 already has a point out and the other one you can clearly see, but not feel. So maybe thats the problem. With the bottom 2, we had no problems though. I guess she might just be struggling a bit more this time :(

Check the ears, otherwise the only times we have night wakings (still pretty frequent) is due to teething. The nurofen does make a difference. It comes and goes in phases (the night wakings due to teething), for 3 weeks it might be really bad at night and then you might have a week or 2 break in between, but then it starts again.

good luck!
