41.3 days pregnant - induction ??

She is in labour girls. Went to hospital this morning, still waiting for some more news.

Anje, i was induced with 1st LB on 40 weeks and luckily he came. 2nd one, not so lucky. At 42 weeks he still didnt want to come down so - csec for me.

dr also did a stretch & sweep.

BUT SS and induction wont work if baby has not gone down, according to my doctor if it hasnt happend at 40 weeks it wont happen and there is nothing you can do to help it on.

heard only good things about accupuncture so maybe you can try that! Wait till monday, on my bday

Had a sweep at 39 weeks and then induced with gel capsule at 41w3d. Contractions 15 min later - birth less than 7 hours after that. It went very very quickly, but I believe an induction is more successful if the cervix is favourable

I had inductions with both my babies and had normal deliveries! With my daughter i got the gel @ 7am and she was born @ 12:06pm with an epidural. With my son I got the gel @ the same time and he was born @ 11:48, my epi didn't work with him though because they administered it to late.

Good luck! Have you tried walking, swimming, eating spicy foods and lots of sEx? It works for some people but didn't help me though.
