When do you eat your EASTER EGGS????

We do easter eggs on Easter Sunday.

We actually dont have much tradition around this holiday - only one is that the bunny comes on Sunday

Ok, I'm totally interested in all of this. My family has moved here to South Africa for a couple years from the US. I had NO IDEA that you eat pickled fish and hot cross buns on Good Friday here. This is completely new to me.
When you say, "eat your Easter eggs" are you talking about the marshmallow eggs, or chocolate bunnies or something?

We will be dying real hard boiled eggs at my house tomorrow in preparation for Easter. My oldest is three and I'm excited for him, as I think he is going to love this! He did it last year with his cousins, but he was not interested in it as a two year old.

Sunday some friends are coming over and we will hide the dyed eggs in the garden and let the kids hunt for them.

It's interesting to me to learn the commonalities and differences in the way we celebrate things.

we have also always eaten our easter eggs on Sunday. I remember growing up, we only used to get 1 easter egg each and you had to wait until after church to eat it. Funny thing is, we never really had much of anything, so we treasured those eggs. No-one wanted to be the first to bite off their bunny ears - sometimes we stll had our eggs a week later and only ate the marshmallows on the Sunday. we would of course walk around with the bunny ALL of Sunday though aaaaaaah, the good old days.......................

Im 30 and my mom still buys me Easter eggs! I love it!!

We also had to taste a few last night just to make sure they still fresh!

We boulght some bunnies in MArch, and this morning Dh says " You know that You and Joshua ate the Eatser eggs so you need to buy more"

I said: Well did offer you some but you said no thanks
So I'll go buy some bunnies now as I'm leaving the office in 10mins.

P.S. I don't think the bunnies will make it past Saturday

I ate a quarter of Dylan's eggs yesterday and another quarter today so I need to go easter egg shopping again.

We are doing the hunt on Sunday morning.
