Oh yes, I definitely think this is a great investment.
Imagine, having to buy one a car seat and use it forever!!!

It really is a great buy I wish I'd seen it when I was expecting.

Baby shops are always willing to swap stuff as long as they haven't been used.
I think you can go and swap the Ferrari seats and ask them to order something more appropriate.

I haven't used this car seat myself but if I knew then what I know now I would have bought this one. Once you buy this one you'll never buy another. This one is from newborn to 12 years old. Whats nice is that it has enough cushion for new born and can be converted to booster seat when the baby gets older. Its available at Edgars from R1600.
Check it out on the catalogue here

You can get a twin pram with reclining seats so that it suits newborns up to age 3.

I am the kind of person who wants to buy once and use till I get all the mileage out of a product

Good luck

Hi TrushP - I think those are for when the babies are a bit bigger. You would need to get the rear-facing ones for the first couple of months first.

We are also expecting twins so doing research on what to get. The ones that come with certain prams are better i.e. the travel systems, is what I hear.

Hi

I had a look at the ratings for the product, if it the one I think it is (it looks like a booster seat) you have to use the padded inserts that come with the seat for new borns.

Hi TrushP - you do not sepcify what/what will not work? Are they rear or forward facing seats?
