Bambino Roadster Carseat

We went ahead and bought the bambino roadster, but my seatbelts are hopelessly too short to use it rear-facing (should be fine forward-facing). So i ordered a seatbelt extender from the states which arrived last week. Plan on trying it out today - hopefully it works well. He did enjoy sitting in it on the lounge floor though LoL

Sorry, i only saw this post now! We have the bambino Elite and have had it since K was about 13/14 months in my car and we have the cheaper safeway immola in DH's car and to be homest se definately likes the bambino more. I have absolutely no complaints for the seat at all, its easy to install and i seem to have short seatbelts in my ford fiesta and didn't struggle...

We just bought the Roadster for our son today! He's 16 mths so we were looking for a forward facing seat, but with another baby on the way we reckon it is a good idea to have a seat which can be used for a younger child as well. Seat belt lengths are always a problem, unless you get an isofix seat. I'll be installing the new seat tomorrow, hoping seat belt will be fine, especially since we're doing forward facing.

The car manufacturer has never heard of anything like seatbelt extensions. But we decided not to buy a seat for my LG now, my LB got a new seat and we are using his old one for LG now. He is old enough to go ff but his chair can go rearfacing, so we bought him a 5 point harness booster seat so that he can face forward.

We have 3 of the roadsters (1 for each car). I've only used it as a forward facing 1y plus seat but have no complaints. The store did warn me that there are problems with seatbelt lengths when it has the base attached though.

yeah, seatbelt length is a problem. We did land up buying the Roadster in the end, really like it. But when i tried to put it in my car the seatbelts are hopelessly too short. Busy looking into buying a seatbelt extender. I asked about just having the seatbelt replaced with a longer one but no-one seems willing to do that.
I reckon we'll have the same problem with any rear-facing carseat becuase our belts only just make it around the seat that came with the travel system and that is much smaller than any "normal" car seat.

Thats great that u love it Hasie. Not sure about finding longer seatbelts,but I would think ur car manufacturure would know.what car do u have?
