Hello moomies, I thought I would post an update.
I've started taking my 17 month old girl to nursery school this month. She went today for the second time. I decided to this month I will take her twice a week to get her used to the new set-up and then from the 1st of February she will start permanently.
When I left her on Wednesday she was very quiet and intrigued and didn't really get upset when I said goodbye and left. I thought, oh awesome, this is going to be such a breeze, my child is so good at adapting. Today was a completely different story, she cried her heart out!

The minder eventually told me that I need to leave because then she can get her to calm down. It's hard but she needs to get used to them

I sucked it up, kissed her goodbye and left my crying child. Luckily I managed to keep my tears at bay until I got in the car.

I feel completely emotionally drained and upset at work today. Everyone always says once the mom leaves they are fine, but shame, she really was very upset and I couldn't stand to see my baby cry like that.
Please tell me from those of you who have got kiddies going to nursery school that it does get better and easier for both me and my little one?
