Widget it sounds like you are putting a plan together that will work for you, I hope you find a creche you really like

Kerry thank you for sharing Its just so cute! I see what you mean with a small group. It would be ideal if I could find something like that.

Just an update from me:

We have, after much discussion with DH and weighing everything up, decided to look for a suitable creche or nursery school close to my work. Even though having a nanny so that my baby can stay at home in his own surroundings and having one on one care would be ideal, we are just not comfortable leaving him at home alone with one person while I am 20 - 30 minutes drive away (no traffic).

So I narrowed it down to four places in Kyalami that I feel might be suitable and went to see one yesterday and I am seeing another one today. And you know what, if we find it doesn't work and it really was not a good decision then we deal with it and make another plan....now that I have actually gone to see one school's set-up and have a better understanding I feel more comfortable with our decision.

Also, I only work half day so I can pick my little one up at 1pm and then we will have the rest of the day to ourselves.

We will also be getting an agency to clean our house so we don't have the worry of finding and employing a domestic, and we will then never be without a clean house because the domestic is off sick or on leave.
