file Homeopathic solutions to the flu?

Anything with echanacia (no idea how to spell it) is an immune booster. And my mom used to give us Garlic & parsely tablets, which helped.

But I would rather take them to a homeopath, as often different things work with different people/children.

coughing and runny nose isn't really anything to be worried about unless your kid is having a tough time breathing or sleeping. Saline is best.

If your paed keeps on putting your lo on antibiotics maybe consider a second opinion.

If the chest is bad consider physio which helps so much. x

My LO is 8 months old, he had a very bad chest and runny nose - poor thing. I took him to the pead, where they've done X-rays. I was recommended to use Demazin and Panado.

It continued - so next we went to the Doctor who gave him antibiotics. It worked while on the antibiotics, however, as soon as he was done... it came back.

If I take him to the doc again - they will probably just give him second batch of antibiotics and if I see the pead, I will go through all the test and get told to continue with Demazin (I really do not want my LO on antibiotics or Demazin the whole winter! :S )

My solution was to go with a more natural homeopathic range. The nurse recommended the Sinus+ at Dis-chem and also to use Oscillococcinum from Boiron once a week.

I am using this for both my children (8 months and 2 years) and adding crèche guard to boost their immunity.

Does anyone have any experience with these homeopathic medicine? Please help - I hate seeing my two coughing and with runny noses...
