Teething Necklaces

Memo it is not meant to be snug around babies neck. It should have a knot between each bead so if it breaks only one bead will be lost (this is to prevent it being a choking hazard. The beads are also relatively small so if swallowed should easily pass through) I have however never in 5 years heard of this happening (a bead being swallowed).
Remember it is for wearing not a chew toy, though some babies do go through a stage of putting the necklace in their mouth - they stop after a while though it is simply a stage of discovering things through mouth contact.
They are made on cotton string specifically so that if it catches on something and baby keeps moving the necklace will snap - this is to prevent risk of strangling.
IMO these are safer to put around a babies neck than a bib with ties, which if it catches on something cannot break and will invariably pull tighter and not come loose.

EP- my friend has one with the yellow and the brown beads threaded one one, I think they are the same, they probably just choose the ones that are the same colour together so it looks nicer. mine are also brown.

Troy also wears one. No toofs yet though. Not too sure if it does make a difference but leaving it on just in case!

I was also worried about choking but it doesn't bother him and they are perfectly safe.
