For me it's a whole new experience as my son has been at boarding school for the last two years.

Will be such a privilege to be a stay at home Mom this time round. I don't quite feel alone though as I have a donkey that's pregnant and a meerkat that I noticed today looking suspiciously huge :)

It is great to have someone to talk to...esp since I can't tell everyone until he tells his sons

Anytime - I had difficulty finding a nice place to chat. Cause most of the pregnancy sites are either UK or USA based.

It's much nicer to have something closer to home.

LOL - I can just about imagine what they'll say - are they married yet?

I was so nervous to tell family and friends - but you know what, it is our choice and it's not like they'll be doing the birthing job!!! LOL

This is my 2nd marriage and my DH has two boys too - but they are 13 and 4 - so not much reaction from them as yet - maybe once the baby is there.

My Eldest told me that he wants money and a new phone and my daughter is just too excited :)

The one nice thing is that we'll be able to spend a lot of time with our new LO's because the older ones are to a degree self sufficient ...I can handle a newborn and an 8 year old, after all I had experience with my other two.

With all 4 our kiddies the age gap is about on average 4 years, which isn't too bad!

A cesarean would freak me out more than a natural birth. Im also not anti c it's just I know what to expect with a natural birth. We've told some family and they're really excited. My husband still has to tell his two sons (26 and 29!). I'm pretty sure they will think we have lost the plot, he's 55. We've only been married two years. Late bloomers lol

I know, sometimes I think to myself... am I really 40??!!!

I'll have a look at them too then.

I'll pray that this time you wont have an episiotomy!

You don't know how nice it is to chat to someone right now.

A lot of things have changed from when we first had our boys (and even since 8 years ago when I had m little girl) seems that there are so much more options these days. Just one trend that I've been seeing a lot lately is that some Gynies opt for cesareans, as these are supposedly more predictable and allows them to deliver more babies in a day!!!!! I'm not anti -cesarian - it's just that I had hurting more than what I"m suppose to ...so if I can avoid surgery I'll do it, but if it comes to an emergency scenario and there is no other choice - I'll have it done.

But if I have a choice I'll always go natural.
