I think a couple weeks, it's just a real painful place to have a cut. Going to the loo burnt like hell.

I still feel 'not quite grown up yet'!

Resolution Health isn't just for PE residents. I think MA's are pretty much the same.

I'm busy researching med aids now! I just got a call back from Fedhealth.

Is Resolution Health Hospital plan just for PE 'citizens"? My other option is Liberty and Fedhealht.

HAHAHA ja I"m looking forward to reading that in my charts ' Advanced Age" or the other one "Geriatric Pregnancy" Dammit ...we're not THAT old HAHAHA

OUCH!!! that's another thing I'm scared of! tearing or having to be cut. How long did it take to heal?

Both hospitals in PE have no water birth facility. When I enquired they reacted as if I was some kind of weird hippie thing.

I'm on Resolution Health hospital plan. They're fantastic! The woman in charge of maternity claims advised to apply for 'high risk pregnancy' and everything would be covered. I don't think I'm high risk but according to my 'advanced age' I am!

Also happy to have had no epidural or ceaser... FAR easier afterwards! The worst was the episiotomy

LOL you can say that again.

I've also had dreams of a water birth - some of the medical centres allows it but I'm not sure if the one I'll be going to does it? I'll have to check - cause it'll really be something I'd like to look at.

Are you on med aid? If so...which one?

I'm currently on Discovery Coastal Saver, but am looking at other options as I think they suck!

Both my two were natural - no epidural which I am so happy before (to tell you the truth with my oldest I refused it right from the beginning - because of all the issues friends and family had with it afterwards, back aches, head aches etc)

That's hectic! I really NEVER go to the Dr...I don't even have a GP. I had 2 LETZZ procedures with this gynae. She's ok but also she hands over at 20 weeks. So I will also stick with the new person.

I always joked that Google saves lives...but it could quite literally!

My son was natural birth. I wanted a water home birth this time but maybe not, being so far from the hospital.

I know what you mean, I use Dr google sometimes as well... especially when you've been to the Dr's ten million times for the same thing but for they keep telling you it's something else.

Like earlier this year I eventually ended up at a kidney specialist after always being told that I have a bladder infection (when I had NO symptoms) - whenever I had to go to the Doc's he would say oh I have a bladder infection. Anyway finally got to the specialist and I was booked in so that they could do a whole battery of tests - everything came back ok but he did pick up that my one kidney wasn't working at maximum. which I think is due the age. But for now I"m ok.

And what the hell - is she the only gynie in the area - and have you always used her? It sucks when you can't get the answers you want.

My first Appt is on the 20/10 - I've changed gynies because the one who delivered my son and daughter dont' deliver babies anymore - I can still go to him for check up etc. but at 20 weeks he hands you over. So I decided to just for once and for all start over with this other Gynie (she was also part of the reason why I ended up at the kidney specialist) she's very thorough and will listen to all your questions and answer it to the best of her ability. And also when it comes to test etc. she will advise you as soon as she gets it.

ANd I also found out she is pro natural birth.

That's another question - did you have a ceasar with your boy?
