CLix. Weight differs from child to child. Hannah was 500grams (half a kilo!) heavier than Mia at 4 months, but they were both perfectly healthy. as long as the curve on their clinic card growth chart goes up!

Elaine, I was also wondering about meat. They say first chicken at 6 months and then beef at 8 months, but... if you look at the purity flavours, I'm sure we can give them the same things? What difference is it if it's purity goo, or homemade pureed goo?! :) :P

Clix The best thing to do would b to look at the growth chart on his clinic card to see if he's gaining weight nicely. Also have him weighed if u concerned & paed/sister shld let u know if he's growing nicely or not. I personally feel that the chubbier the baby the better, besides they lose the weight quickly by the time they start talking
I started my baby on rice cereal, he's 4 months & he got constipated, have stopped giving it to him. Thinking I'll wait another month or 2

Ashlee is only eating rice cereal and vegetable soup at daycare. And then rice cereal at home. So she gets solids twice a day only, and sometimes she doesn't even eat the rice cereal.

I have bought some apple purity and will try it this weekend. When should we start introducing protein like meat into their diets?

Hi you all!

Does someone know what the recommended weight is for a 4month old baby?
I've started solid on Sunday but don't want to get my baby over-weight...

Glad it went well and messy! Hope you took pics!

Hannah hasn't started grabbing the spoon yet, but if Mia eats something those little eyes look at me as if to say "And now? Where's mine?"

She's my little piggly wiggly!!! :)

I gave Ashlee some pumpkin today. Just mashed it with a fork and mixed some formula with it. I cooked it till quite soft so it was easy to mash. She enjoyed it, but we were both covered in pumpkin because she kept grabbing the spoon out of my hands :)

Rice cereal success!!

I tried something different tonight. I tried to feed Ashlee as soon as brought her home from daycare at 5:30. She has a bottle at daycare at about 4:30 so I decided to try the rice cereal when we get home, and I'm pleased to say she enjoyed it, and actually ate a few bites!!

The past few days I think I tried to feed her too close to bottle time, and then she only wants milk.
