Esperide / Eglonyl

I took Eglonyl to increase my milk supply when Gia was about 2 months old. For me they started me too late my baby was already drinking loads of formula but we stopped her once my milk was in.

She is now just over 9 months i still take Eglonyl maybe 1 or 2 a week just as a booster.
I had no side effects... sleep deprivation was my drop in libido... i have lost weight whilst taking it. Yipppeeee.... so many more kilos to go still

Espiride didn't help with increasing my milk supply, so started with Eglonyl, which helped (more).

Paed said to wean mysel off, but gynae said that I wasn't take it for depression so just go off when you stop BF'ing, which is what I did, with no side effects.

you can keep taking 2 a day if you like. Otherwise, only take it now and then when you need a boost...

Hi Ulandy, thanks for the advice. Do I stop after 3 days, or lower the dosage, or keep on drinking them to keep up the milk supply?

Fenugreek is really great. If you're looking for a booster, try taking 12 per day for 2-3 days (4 in the morning, afternoon and night). It's homeopathic so the only side-effect is more milk Good luck!

Hi Ingrid, I'm also very new here but welcome all the same. I bought my Fenugreek at a regular health shop. It's incapsule form. It's just called Fenugreek.
