My very first IVF!

Hi Girls!!

This post have been quiet for some time now.

How is everyone doing? Is there anyone that is TTC on IVF at the moment?

My partner and I are on our first cycle of IVF CD4 with our first home injections done today.

Going to a follicle scan on Saturday and I really hope that my there will be eggies for them to retrieve.

Im on Fermara tablets 1 x every morning at 08:00 and Menupur 75 3 X Vials mixed with 1 liquid.

Dont feel anything yet, just a bit of constipation cramps? Dont know if that is normal....

Hi ladies, it's been a while. Hope you are all well
I ended up doing an FET in January for the 2 frozen embryos I had. The FET in my opinion was worse, more injections and just awful. It ended being a negative beta. I was completely shattered...again. Yesterday I had a hysteroscopy and that came back clear so my uterus looks great, not sure why my embryo babies don't stick
We can't afford another IVF/ICSi right now so waiting til mid year...

Its the new year and I thought its time for a catch up to see what everyone is up to.

We saw the FS yesterday to do a follow up chat and he quickly booked me in for an HSG to make sure i don't have any fluid in my tubes, all came back clear and we can go ahead So I start with Lucrin injections, 10 units until AF starts and then 5 units from Day 1. On Day 3 i start with two tablets of estropause a day and then bump up to four after a few days. Hopefully at about day 10 I will stop those and go onto progesterone jabs and we transfer around Day 16 if all is well. Im quite excited!!! Im praying this works!!

Hi ladies, would u believe, bought the meds to bring on my period yesterday and this morning AF shows. 41 days since my last period. I hate that I constantly waste money on tests and meds. It's horrible not being normal!

Hi, negative blood test results
I feel awful. More so after speaking to DH now because he told he since I told him he could not stop thinking about it. He was 99.9% certain we were pregnant and it would be our miracle. I really feel so horrible.

@Ladysa i still feel that it can be positive. I've read stories of ladies never getting a positive hpt and positive when doing bloods.

AF has not arrived and no spotting either. So I'll wait it out this week. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and runny nose.

Did the HPT at 6am. not even the faintest second line
And now more than ever i feel such awful period cramps. that dull burning sensation in my abdomen where i think my ovaries are

i called my nurse today and explained about the faint second line on friday and then nothing today. she said rather do a blood test to make certain and then i can get the meds to start my period. as they dont want to give meds if there is a possibility of pregnancy.

She said its normally the period is never so long delayed. im on CD40 today, have never been longer than 32 days cycle and that was when we were traveled and a month missed after laparoscopy, so it is frustrating and worrying because it has delayed the FET process for Jan which is a schlep. I went just now for the test so will know tomorrow. Just want some finality on this.

hope is really a terrible thing when it ends with a negative and not a positive! but i guess human nature is such that we always have that hope that lingers xxx

will let you know as soon as i get my blood test result. am hopeful but realistic too i guess.
