Maureen- unfortunatley the consumer act is only applicable to commercial deals for example- if you buy a car from me (a layman) you have no recourse should it explode on you after a few weeks.
In KZN we have a radio station called ECR- on there they have a show run by a woman called Wendy Nola- she has alot of advice for these kind of problems. Look on the ECR website and get her e-mail address. She will be able to help you.

Juandre - I wouldn't be to worried. This could also just be your hormones. I have discarge as well, it isn't brownish but more see through, Gynae told me that it is just all the hormones, but keep calling your Doctor if you are worried about it.

Carol - congrats on your friends baby, where did he get the infection from? Cool on you son sleeping through, Jamie does it every now and then, more then than now!

So does anyone know of anything with regards to the consumer protection act and renting a house? I am having major difficulties with my landlord and owner! The owner had his swimming pool unlawfully connected to the main bedroom's plugs, it isn't even run through the DB board, in anyway we didn't know this, just one day the oven doesn't work, they come out to fix it a whole week later, rediciolus I know, then all the plugs don't work, then they come upon the unlawfull connection and now our swimming pool is unplugged until the owner gives the go ahead in having it connected properly to the DB board. I am so fed up!

My friend had her babba Monday, but he got infection in the lungs so he has to be in ICU for 5 days. At least she get to hold him when he is breastfeeding. Shame must be hard seeing something so small with all the tubes!

Hope everyone is doing well this morning. MY son actually slept right through for once! So I had a almost good night rest. That would be if I did not have to get up 4 times to go to the loo.

I have been MIA for about a week. Been so hectic with work and the renovations... I have alot to catch up on!

So I am stressing ... maybe you ladies can shed some light for me. I went to the loo about an hour ago and when I wiped there was brown discharge (like when you are just starting your period)... I sent a msg to my midwife friend who said this can be normal to try rest and chill. To call my gynae and see what he says. His receptionist is so useless grrrr.... So I left a msg explaining what has happened and asked him to call me.

This week has been sooooo stressful I hope everything is ok with my bean .

My due date is 22 January - my MIL's birthday! eeeekkk! ha ha ha

But I think we'll be butchered 16 January or thereabouts.

Last night he woke up only once - that has never happened! He is a regular waker-upper...... ggrrrr. I hope he sleeps through before new baba arrives.

Hi ladies.

I so tired today. My LG has also been sick and sleeping in our bed coughing through the night. And to top it of I am now also sick.

I started my new job in the 2nd week of Aug. Im loving it so far. Very little stress. I can have my little girl here.

Maureen thats hectic. And it such a big chunk out one's monthly budget when costs like these come up.

Mom2b - I can imagine how fustrating it is dealing with home affairs. I hate having to deal with them.

Vision Im glad your scan went well.

My friend phoned me this morning. Her son is doing very well. They have taken him completly off oxygen. He is breathing well on his own. Is 1.2kg. I so happy for them.
