Ashleigh I know what you mean! I am hoping for a girl but I am worried that I will be disappointed when it is not. Even though I would not mind another boy... Its just I would like to have one of each.

Amanda, I remember those nights! You just feel so tired you just have let them cry. Even though I am not a fan of the cry it out method. Sometimes it works!

I also had a bad night. LO only woke up once, but I could not sleep. I felt hungry. And then the gogga would start squirming in my tummy. Ai eventually I got some sleep. Then LO called me to come sleep with him> I lied awake for 20min till he was fast assleep. Got to my own bed then hubby was snorring! I couldn't sleep!! 30min later LO crawled into our bed, fell assleep after what felt like ages. And then I went to sleep in his bed. Got some sleep at last! lol
Seems like we all struggle with sleep for now. Hope it gets better.

I went to Mr Price but was disappointed that they had no pants to wear. When I asked the assistant she said they don't sell maternity pants.
I will just go to another shop pffff.

Mr Price actually has some really nice maternity stuff which are not that expensive. With my last pregnancy I bought two dresses there which I'll be able to wear this time around too as I'll be "beeeeg" in summer.... again.... sigh

My sympathies for those having bad nights with babies. I don't know how I made it through last night as I feel like such a terrible mom - when I don't get sleep I am less patient

My boy wouldn't let me leave the room. If I sat next to his cot he'll lie down to sleep. if I move further away to the chair where I bf him, he screams. it was less than two meters away. It was really horrible. it was just one of those murphy's law nights! gggrrrr hubby worked on his laptop in bed and I couldn't fall asleep. He'd type, then stop a long time... then I'm about to fall asleep, then he'll start typing again. so annoying. And every time I think ok now he'll stop.... so EVENTUALLY when he puts everything down to sleep.... he coughs like once every 7 minutes, just to KEEP me awake. Oh man I was plotting ridiculous revenge things in my head! Then as he stops and I can eventually sleep (after having to pee twice) my LO wakes up screaming. he stayed awake a few hours where I eventually gave him some calpol as I thought he might've felt ill or something. Horrible night. Then he slept for two hours and woke at 4am again. I bf him. Put him down and he screamed again. Then I just couldn't take it, I gave him water, checked that all was ok and told him to sleep cause mommy needs to sleep. I left his room. He screamed but I just couldn't anymore Thank goodness he only cried a little while and actually fell asleep again. We slept until 6am this morning! :o

LO normally wakes between 4 and 5am every morning.

I notice a few of you are having your little ones very close together We are super brave! lol

My son will be a year and 9 months once his sibling arrives.

Im so glad its Friday. Lo has been sleeping so bad this week. Last night was a bit better. I going to try and sleep in tomorrow and catch up on some sleep.

All my winter clothes still fit (Most is what I wore when I was pregnant last winter. But I am going to definitely need summer clothes. I hate shopping for clothes while pregnant. Maternity clothes are so expensive.

I really cant wait anymore to go for our next scan. We are really hoping for a little boy because this is my last pregnancy. But I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the news that it might be a girl. I dont want to feel disappointed (but I will in a way) because boy or girl a baby is such a blessing.

Cakes - Not long till your wedding. Have still got alot to plan or are you almost done?

Mummoo - Congrats on the twins.

Have my little girl with me at work today. My mom has spoilt her so much. She doesnt want to sit and play she just wants to be in the arms all the time. She loves her walking ring. But I'm not a huge fan of it. She hasnt started crawling yet. She is almost there. She just struggles to get the 1 leg out. She moves about on her bum very well and gets where she wants to be. Any advice on getting her to crawl.

im starting to count down weeks & days , my next appointment is the 9th Septem. @ 12 weeks i CANNOT wait !!

Chubbchick - yes, its 2 girls. That's from the fetal asessment centre at 13 weeks, still want my gynae to confirm it though.

CarolSch - I am showing yes and actually bigger than your bump - I am 2 weeks further than you plus I can see the difference in size as its twins. They say you show quicker second time round and I agree completely!

For those ladies who need to find pants asap - I bought 2 maternity skinny jeans at the Woolies sale on the weekend - they are really cool.

Carlene I went to Mr Price Home (apparently sport also has nice clothes that preggy chicks can wear) and the cargo pants were R89 for the 3/4's and R119 for the full cargo. I have a voucher for Woolies so I had a look but I refuse to pay R299 for a pair of stretch pants!!

Carol I LOVE your bump I want mine that size!! Mine is about half that I guess but I am quite small and any weight makes my pants tight

Jolene so sorry you been sick again I know how annoying that is when i get sick I just keep getting sick for months after until it finally goes away and it leaves you feeling so tired!! Have not done the clicks test as all the pregnancy tests i got from there were negative so have no faith haha!! Can someone tell me when you are supposed to register for Antenatal classes and how many you have to take? I can't wait for Monday we are sending out an email that a web designer friend of mine has made for us with a pic of the latest scan and my tummy with a little message!!!
