Zel - we see them about once a year. This year we are lucky as we saw them in January when they came to visit in South Africa. And now again in September when we all go to Thailand for holiday.

Zee - on your question about high bloodpressure. Take it easy, try and avoid salt. I had high bloodpressure but if you can manage it without medication then you should be fine. If the Gynae is a bit to worried about it, then she/he might suggest to go onto a bloodpressure medication. I kept my down to a point I didn't need the medication. Good luck. Holding thumbs it will come down naturally.

Mom2B - shame, get a lot of rest and remember to drink lots of fluids. Good luck hope you feel better soon. I was very lucky that mine was removed when I was 3. But my DH still has them and he suffers from tonsilitis about 3 times a year.

Shame Mom2B, very ouch! Tonsillitis is no child's play. They do say that the older you are, the more painfull it is. A friend of mine's was removed when she was 22, and had to stay in hosp for 2 days for observation.

I went for bloods twice last week and only got the last results today after a huge tantrum, but the good news is that it went from 344 on Tuesday to 957 on Thursday.

Wow Carlene1vn, you have a stunning bump, i can't wait for mine to be visible, especially for my son to see. He doesn't understand that i have a baby in my tummy. He actually said that the baby must be in my bum, 'cause it is bigger than the tums , the innocence of a child...

ChubbyChick, i would love to do that test, but will have to turn hubby's arm, and will have to wait at least 2 more weeks before doing it, if i succeed.

been up since 4am today with tonsillitis am so not impressed I got it about 3 months ago as well for the 3rd time this year so spoke to the Dr and she said not to remove them as it was so painful for someone my age but we could see if i got it again so here i am with batch no 4!!!

Staying in bed and working from here between napping. First time i have felt nauseous today but think it from all the nasty phlegm sitting in my throat...gross.

ZelF, hope your boy is better, our GP said the other day that most people that now get flu get some of variant of swine flu, my son had it too, and it took three weeks for him to get back to his old self. Hang in there. Noticed though that the moment the fever was broken he got better.

Thank you ladies am looking forward to travelling this journey with you .I went to the doctor yesterday my results were good am only having a problem with my blood pressure it was too high 160/90 and thats not good for the lil one .I dont know what is causing this do you ladies perhaps know what i can do to keep at the right level.@Maureen am staying in Pretoria and i dont know my due date yet am seeing my gynae sometime next week am 11weeks 2days today .
