Hi there,

I am feeling horrible today. I think I might be coming down with a cold. Blocked nose, headache from hell, and feeling like my bed is calling me to come to it...

Chubby - good luck with sick little one. Must say that since we have been giving Jamie some Scotts Emulsion, he has been doing great. We started giving as soon as the season started changing from summer to autum and will stop again as soon as spring changes into summer.

Ika thanks, will have a look at the website.

Good luck to all the MS ladies. I feel for you my poor sister is on the same road with the MS, and my heart breaks for her. Needless to say she gets very upset about the fact that I don't have it at all.

Morning everyone!

So great to see everyone is back, chatting!

Mom2b I am so happy baby is fine. It must truly be a miracle baby. And hearing the heartbeat GREAT NEWS!!!! I am so relieved all is fine.

Carlene, I picked up even more than you! 27kg. Somehow lost 20 after birth and with breastfeeding. Had to go on weighles to loos the rest. And in the 3 years I picked up 5 again. So I am overweight currently which will not be helping me at all. hehe. And with my son I craved watermelon sooooo much as soon as I took a bight Ruan would start kicking. In the end i started looking like a watermelon ;)

Trying my best to eat healty but I also crave salty things. Had muesli and yoghurt this morning and it made me nauseous. So had 1 toast with bovril, avo and tomato. Feel better now :)

Oh and I also have that jungle juice recipe. My cousin said that she started drinking that the second day after the c-section and it helped her heal quicker as well.

Angi - so happy your scan went great. Heartbeat....best sound ever!!

Ilse my doc gave me moxolon. Also R50 something for 20 havent had even one so I cannot comment if they work or not.

aaaahhh my dh is in a hurry and I have to cut this short. have a lovely day Alll!

Morning everyone :)
ChubbyChick, fabulous that you got to see your bean. i think the heartbeat usually starts off fairly slow at ~ 6-7 weeks... so you may find a scan at say 12 weeks shows a similar rate to your LG's. that said, heres hoping you get a little boy if thats what you'd like :) sorry to hear that your LG is sick, hope the paed can give you a good diagnosis and plan of action!

Debbie, thinking of you.

Morning ladies,

M2B- that must have been scaring knowing that something that weird came out of you! You and me are almost exactly the same due date.

My LG is soooo sick. Has this terrible sores in her mouth, her breath smells very bad and she doesn't eat or drink. Taking her to the paed as soon as I get an appt. I am really worried about her.

Went to the gynae yesterday and saw my bean! Heartbeat is 130bpm. So if the old wives tale is correct this is going to be a boy. As my LG's heartbeat was 172bpm. Maybe its true? Gynae is satisfied with the development. Oh, my gynae charged R600.

Have a lovely day ladies!

Hi Carlene yes this is our first baby :) even though I have lost the weight i still have a definite bump starting to show which i am rather proud of!! The Dr says i am only 6w 4 days which is annoying so will have to change my PG ticker.

M2B I'm, now very jealous. Wish I can lose 4kg. Is this your first baby. Well, I hope all your problems and bleeding is now over and that you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

The Dr showed me with his hands how big the "thing" was and my gosh it was over 5cm long and quite wide which was why it was opening my cervix. He has sent it off for testing but is hoping it is just a benign tumor or polyp will know in about 2-3 days.

Carlene you make me laugh haha i was so shocked when they weighed me before surgery i have lost 4kg's so that was weird and obviously why i can still see down there!!

Angi you and me seem to have drawn the long straws I have not had a single day of MS (touch wood) I am a terrible sick person, a total woos!

Maureen he is hoping it will not come back and that the reason it got so big so quick was because of the PG hormones and there must have been a small tumor there to start with. DH is feeling very guilty as I always pamper and look after him and he had to leave me in the hospital by myself (he had no choice) but I could get used to this!! Had to laugh they had me in the maternity ward so all these new tiny babies kept going past was sooooo gorgeous I cant wait!!!

I am also trying to stick to a healthy diet as I am a bit of a health freak and love salads and fruit and I am hoping i can get back to my exercise. I used to horse ride twice a week, play squash twice a week and run 10km 3 times a week so this sitting around doing nothing has been killing me!!
