Carol - I am really struggling with the food issue. I am eating like a pig. And to be honest I love it. With my first one I couldn't only gained like 8 kilograms, but am already on 2 kilograms with this one, so will see in the end. But I don't care, I am loving eating everything and anything! I had breakfast then a chocolate, then a bun at 11 and now lunch, I still have some fruit salad left, and am sure that won't be the end of it.

My sister is now 5 weeks, and she too is struggling with the MS. Her Fertility Specialist put her on some or other medication to help that she does not miscarriage and this is really pushing the MS to the worst. I feel for her but on the one hand with her first one it was easy sailing. Hopefully it will stop soon.

I am wondering if anybody read my comment about a week ago. I stated that my GP gave me medication for my MS called vomafine. I have only had 2 of those pills in the last week and since have not had MS since Wednesday. They are about R50 for 20 and you can buy them over the counter. Completely safe for your little peanut.
That's the only help I can give.
Chow.

carlene, this week I am also trying to eat healthier. Feels like I have picked up alot. I am too scared to get on the scale! Sorry about the MS. Mine has been better since week 9. Still get nauseous from time to time. Coffee a big no-no for me. And after a meal I dont feel so great. And now I am so hungry all the time. I am trying fruits for snack. Ag who am I kidding! I had 2 slices of toast this moring with avo and tomato. A tex chocolate and a banana. And it is not even lunch time yet. :(

hope every one is coping better with the foodies then I am!

Cookie monster, you can start to feel almost normal again as soon as MS is gone! just the exhaustion that gets you. Oi they say it should stop after week 12.

O how I wish my MS can just disappear from this earth and never find me again. As from this week it is all day again. Over the weekend it only started round about 12h, so I thought it is slowly starting to leave me, but yesterday when I made my husband some coffee, it was back with a bang. If anyone is interested in taking my MS, I will gladly give it away for free. Really…
If only it will help with the weight gain. It seems that I’m not one of those lucky ladies that just look like they swallowed a pea. I picked up 24kg with my previous pregnancy and I already picked up 3kg with this one. And I really try to eat as healthy as my MS allows me.

Enjoy your day ladies. Only 2 days till my next scan.

Morning Ladies,

All i can say is YIPPPPEEEEE :woohoo: MS has stayed away since Friday. Starting to feel alot better...just hope it stays this way :)

Really not in the mood for work today, wish i was back in bed with my nice warm water bottle. Been really tired these last few days

My LG learnt how to walk about 2 weeks ago and has now learnt a new thing of standing up and looking between her legs...old wives tale means that you are expecting. Hope she doesn't do it in front of other people as i am keeping my pregnancy a secret till i am 12 weeks.

Debbie - your count still seems very high which is a good thing. Hope the waiting game comes to a end and you hear good news.

Angi - Go for it girl, no harm can be done in going a week early.

Maureen - I know what you going through...except it was with our garden dude (they broke into our garage and stole all our old things eg TV, Lawn Mower etc and into my car)

I'm so excited, counting down the days that i get to see my naartjie pit. 10 days and counting :woohoo:

Maureen: then we are hoping for the same thing. This morning I feel so sleepy and in a daze and Ruan is running around in a blur, up and down, jumping screaming singing. He is very very active. LOL. Also had a climbing incident with him. He uses his bookshelve for a ladder or something and pulled the whole thing on top of him. I got such a fright, but he learned his lesson to stay away from bookshelves. He sticks to trees and real ladders now. Just NEED to watch him every minute!

It is a bit tiring most of the time I am shouting! feel like a witch and I don't want him to start doing naughty things just to get attention. So I just have to make time for a little walk and time to play with no interuptions. Just need to wash that mountain of dirty clothes, make the beds and all that stuff that needs to be done. He doesn't like me doing that lol.

Hope that nanny doesn't go and steal even more because you are letting her go. You need to keep a close eye on her. Can believe how people can even steal from you when they are treated so well.

anyhoo

Angi, you should be able to see a heart beat. I would not be able to wait another 2 weeks. So go for that appointment!
