Feeling much better this morning thanks , dont know if I was just tired or what it was but hopefully today will be better.

Maureen - never nice when the rumours start as the saying goes where there is smoke there is fire ? or something like that .

Have any of you looked at chinese gender prediction ? I am curious to know if it is correct ?

What is the notion about eggs when pregnant , can you or cant you eat them ?

I still havent told any1 about the LO , I am very good that way think I could go 9 Months without telling anyone , except my waistline is a big giveaway.

Carlene - I like the private room idea, but I am such a sucker for company. Funny "daily meeting with the toilet". I had bad MS with my son and none this time around so hoping for a girl!

As for work, that pretty much sucks! I hope things turn around for you. I am hoping the same for me. I would love another job, but a lot of companies won't hire pregnant women. Will just have to see what happens.

Mom2B - I told my boss this morning, he got all red eyed and glassy eyed. I think he is having problems at home and was very emotional. But otherwise everyone else knows already. I can't keep my secrets for very long.

Justine I am also struggling not to tell anyone!! We told our families the day after we got the positive and I told my best friend on Monday! Have had loads of phone calls from people today as it's my birthday and they all wanting to know when they can tell everyone and I feel so bad telling them that they have to wait but we just don't want to tell everyone just yet

Maureen & Ashleigh, my overall experience of Kloof was great. With my girl I went into Pre-labor at 32weeks and was in hospital for the weekend. They were so great and even allowed my friend to give my babyshower in hospital. They tried their best to stop the labor and made sure I was Ok. At 37 weeks I was in hospital again for High blood pressure. Again they made sure that I’m comfortable. Both times I was alone in the room, and when Emma was born they also put me alone in the room, but that night 1h an emergency c-section came in, so they put her with me. I didn’t sleep at all that night and the next night, because her baby didn’t drink enough and cried the whole night. But that’s not the reason we decided on Pta East. Although the private room will be nice.

My MS was mush better yesterday. Didn’t have my daily meeting with the toilet, but today I’m feeling a bit “naar” again. But I think it is that samoosa I had for breakfast. My MS wasn’t this bad with my LG, so maybe this time it is a Boy.

Maureen, I know the feeling of not knowing what is going to happen. At my work they also decided that they are not going to replace people if they resign. Well, our accountant resigned and her work was divided between the bookkeepers, so lucky us, we got more work for the same pay. Not nice.

Justine, when are you going for your 9week scan? We told our family as soon as I got the positive, we just couldn’t wait. I’m going for my 12week scan next week Thursday. Can’t wait.

and i'll add my comments to what Maureen has said below.. ive heard there's a sort of 'amnesty' for any bad behaviour prior to ~8 weeks. apparently because little bubba is still wrapped up in its own little cocoon of safety with less direct connection to mommy

sorry to hear about your work vibe Maureen. that must be so unsettling. nothing worse that rumours of layoffs for staff morale. hang in there.

Ashleigh, im also trying to hold off telling anyone... probably wont make it to 12 weeks though, so will try not to open my mouth before my next scan at 9 weeks!

Carol, i also had no MS with my son. this time its been very different up to now. maby *cross fingers* it means im having a little girl?
