Hi everybody,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying this lovely weather we are having (cape town mostly, dont know about up in the GP).

Ciska - Sorry about your loss my sweetheart. My thoughts go out to you and so glad to see you so positive.

AFM - Told my mother this weekend that i am 8 weeks pregnant, and did i get a look that could kill. We haven't spoken since :( BF is trying to cheer me up, hasn't worked yet as my mothers acceptance means everything to me. Anyway, now i have to break the news to the BF's folks which is scaring me the most.

Most of my bruising from the accident have vanished only a slight bruise left on my leg.

Cant really say that i have be having mood swings, just MS is really tiring me out. Its at least 4 times a day that i must run to the bathroom.

Thats me for now...Chat again soon

C :) :) kie Monster

actually im really lucky.
My DH is at home so does most of the stuff around the house, takes my son to swimming etc (all the places he'd never get to with just our nanny as she doesnt drive). I leave at 6:30 in the morning and its so much easier to leave my baby all tucked up in dad's arms that it would be to leave him with anyone else.
thats why i feel awful when i snap  its not fair really.

Oi, the poor husbands. I was way more irritated a while back, have calmed down a bit now.

M2B- I am from Worcester and studied at the University of Stellenbosch for 6 years. Will move back there any day if the right opportunity arises.

For now I am stuck in the ever so cold Bethlehem.

Having homemade burgers and chips for dinner. My DH cooked for our LG over the weekend, making it easier for us in the evenings when we get home. My DH is VERY good with our LG. He helps with everything and even household chores. But I must say, most of the Namibian men I know are like that.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Seems like a lot of us are a bit irritable with the DH ! The two of us were also a bit out of "sync" this weekend. But I cannot blame it all on hormones. Must be all the people in the house getting to us as well. My house was a mes after everyone left. Had to vlean this morning and not even halfway done! Feel like crying! And that bloody vacume makes my back hurt, so I retired for the day.

Enjoy the nanny while you can maureen. Hope DH does his part. I am a bit panicky about how I wil cope with 2 kidz. Hope my DH will do HIS part then

Hi Carol,
I hear you about waistbands feeling a bit snug. i bought a few pairs of tracksuit pants for mooching about at home on the weekend. going to try and stay as comfy as possible this time!

Maureen, excellent- i remember that 12 week scan. i cried the last time! my next scan is on the 25th. i think if i hear heartbeat then, I'll finally relax a bit!
and you're not alone in the 'irritable' department. i really do believe in hormones playing a huge role here. i can hear myself snap at my DH and then i regret it so much afterwards. it was the same when i was preggies with my son
:(
But you've really got to get him to realise you cant do everything around the house on your own. that's just not fair.

Mom2B... somerset west, thats a lovely part of the world. lucky you :)

Justine I am about a week behind you and i live in Somerset west :)

Sending DH out shopping as we have friends for dinner so will ask him to buy the Biotex thanks for the idea!

Thanks Carol it is so nice knowing things are still progressing but absolutely terrifying seeing so much blood! Will be abusing it to the fullest though and stay in bed ordering DH around for a change

Anyone else from around SSW??
