Welcome Carlene, sorry to hear about your MS. my MS has suddenly deserted me, which should be good news, but does make me a bit uneasy.

Mom2B, how lovely to be able to wear your wedding dress again! what a good idea not many get the chance to do that!

Carol, you're making me hungry too. *sigh* trying so hard not to completely lose it like last time. I did go to gym this morning, so hopefully that should count for something. had to buy new sports bra's because my old ones are suddenly too tight!

We still havent told a soul. trying to hold out until after a scan at 9 weeks. funny, the longer Im keeping this secret, the easier its becoming.

I am actually doing very well today and bleeding has almost stopped completely so bit of a shock but I am not going to complain long may it last!!

Cookie I am so sorry your mom reacted like that I know I was so nervous to tell my DH even though we had agreed to start trying but it happened on the first go and he was less than impressed with me!! He is still coming to terms with it after 2 weeks and mostly ignores it

I have a busy day organizing a joint fancy dress party for DH and me this Saturday (its my 28th Birthday tomorrow eeek) We are having a Mad Hatter party and I am going as the white queen so i can wear my wedding dress one more time before I become a whale and also getting my hair done just now which always makes me feel better!!

I loved dr Pretorius and didn’t mind his bedside manner. So maybe I will like Dr Trouw as well. I heard people say he is not very friendly. Maybe that is my kind of gyne.
I’m also glad I made it to 10 weeks, will be 11weeks on Thursday. Hopefully the MS will stop at 12wks, because I can not take it anymore. My friend gave me some Rooibos tea with ginger in, and that helped a bid, and the Preggie Pops, but I don’t want to eat too much of that, because of the sugar. Don’t want to pick up 24kg again with this pregnancy. It is too much of a struggle to loose it afterwards.

I actually had nutrifix this morning. Trying to cut the breads. Cant wait for lunch though. Planning a BIIIG sandwich with ham, cheese tomato, salad and I will see what else i've got. hmmm maybe pizza tonight...

I am just so happy I made it to 10 weeks! Just 2 more weeks and I can relax a bit.

Hi Maureen I see your hubby has his own garden services as well. then our dh's are in the same business Its great for me cause him also making his own hour can help out more at home. Especially with that damn vacume!

Welcome Charlene - I was with Dr. Pretorius before he immigrated, I didn't like him at all. And I love Dr. Mostert, she has such a good bedside manner, I do know she doesn't like VBAC after C-section but she said to me we can wait and see what happens, as with my first pregnancy I had to many complications, and had an emergency C-section at 34 weeks.

Cookie - my dad the same thing with my first pregnancy, he came around after 3 weeks, it is just the shock. He had a very diffrent reactions with this one's news.

My DH does just about everything. I love him to bits. He does get a bit moody every now and again. But I work far from home and he has his own Garden Services, so he makes his own working hours.

Hi Ladies
I’m new at Moomie’s. Glad to have found this forum. I’m 10wks pregnant (Due Date 2 Feb 2011), next appointment is the 21st of July. Just sad that my old gyne immigrated to Australia and the new gyne is not very happy with me wanting to try Vbac. So we decided to go to Dr Trouw at Pta East. My daughter was born with c-section, because of high blood pressure. Dr Pretorius waited until 39weeks, to see if I maybe can give normal birth, but didn’t want to wait any longer because my BP was 150/100.
I’m also struggling with MS since 4weeks. These meetings with the toilet every night is not funny anymore. Last week my LG said to DH “Mamma is seker weer naar” when I went to the toilet to get some toilet paper.
