Morning to all the pregnant fairies!

So my cravings are killing me! I never had them this bad with my son! Can cravings start off so early already?!

I went from Mint Magnum craving at 9 am to Pizza at 10 am! What am I going to do?

I still feeling great, no MS. Just a bit tired every now and again.

Today I am 9 weeks! Another 3 weeks till my next scan!

Cookie - that is horrible. Just to be on the safe side, maybe just give your doctor a call.

Carol - did you see your peanut, heart beat? Even my sister's little girl who is 23 months, is acting weird towards me since I have been pregnant! Really weird!

Debbie - I am better today after my rant. Can you believe she still hasn't phoned me to say sorry or to say that they have arrived safely at Nelspruit.

Have a great day ladies, and enjoy your weekend.

Morning CMonster.
Sorry to hear about your car accident! how absolutely horrible.
and your cramps afterward must have been so scary. The fact that they are now gone, plus that you have no bleeding is surely a good sign. Perhaps they were stress induced? My head tells me that they are probably nothing to worry about, but I can completely relate that you'd be worried. Why not phone your doctor to ask whether they think you need to come in? thats what I'd do.

Morning Ladies,

Hope everyone is having a lovely day, thank goodness its friday.

Last night i was in a car accident, nothing to serious just a few bruises. But when i got home i started having sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Must i go see a doctor, so scared that bean got hurt which is highly unlikely as my tummy didnt touch the steering wheel only the seatbelt. No bleeding yet, cramps are gone this morning but was up all night with them. Do you ladies think it is serious? :(

Stupid men drivers that say us women are maniacs on the road.

Enjoy your day

Hi everyone!

Welcome to all the new mommies :).

C monster. I am not on Med aid as well. I cannot really recommend one of the non private hospitals as I had a very traumatic miscarriage 4 years ago and had to go to Karl Bremer. It was night staff and they seemed to not care at all.

But not having given birth there I cannot really say. Best is to maybe go and have a look at the maternity wards. I am not sure if they give a tour like in private hospitals. AAlso have a look at Tygerberg.

I am looking at capegate med clinic. Have to cut our budget terribly!

Have my first scan tomorow morning at 9. It was a long wait!! Will let you all know tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

Maureen. My son is also n bit weird towards me. But not tooo bad ;)

Well have a good one !!!

Maureen - read your thread about In-laws , very inconsiderate . Luckily my MIL lives in Durban (600km away) and I only see her once a year , every second year we go down to her for christmas , must be honest I try spend the least amount of time there . she has 13 cats and 5 dogs , it is not a pleasant experience. She comes up here the alternative years , but fly's in the morning and leaves the same night as she cant trust anyone with her pets .

Unfortuneatly you cant write off your In-Laws as your DH will suffer but it does make you mad as hell when they cant let you know that
they have had a change in plans.

Strongs to you.
