hi Debbie, glad you can hang around at home.. nice when things happen at the right time, when you really need it. i took two days of sick leave this week and im sure thats had a big impact on me feeling a little more alive today!

i went for bloods at 10 dpo, just to check whether i was really preggies. the second line on the HPT took ~ 1 hour to appear... so rather than testing everyday hoping that it would appear more quickly, i thought bugger it... and got blood drawn for HCG.

the last time i was pregnant i left it at that. my thinking that is if my HCG levels arent doubling like they should, there's nothing anyone can do about it anyway. if i had a progesterone problem though, there is definite benefit to being closely monitored, because doctors can do something about that.

I had to go to the GP anyway on monday for my cough and she wanted to take blood again, so i just went with the flow. now that i have the result a whole lot of extra stress has arisen... is the number too high? do i have twins? (my DH would have a heart attack!). Sometimes i really do think its better just not to know!

Morning Ladies,

Welcome Cisca, fx for your results .

CChick - very exciting , I dont have any MS neither and very few other signs , I know my Gynie likes it when you have a few , but hey what can I do , I didnt think frequently peeing would start so soon but it has I have also been drinking lots of water so it could just be natural who knows.

Justine - Thanks , feeling ok today , was so relieved had an installation today and they phoned to say the PC isnt ready I have a tons of work I can do at home so it just gives me a breather and its warmer at home , :P

Wanted to ask do you need to go for bloods or is it just to make double sure , our med aid is so low at the moment dont want to waste anything ? I know you get your HCG levels ?

Morning everyone :)

Cchick, good luck with your appointment. so sweet about your DH... isnt it lovely when they are so enthusiastic? when i told my DH when pregnant with my first i think the overriding emotion was pure shock (we'd been trying but only for a couple of months). it took me (and him) at least three months for the shock to wear off!

Congratulations Cisca and welcome. let us know what your blood results are. its so exciting to see that confirmation.

DebbieF, hope you are feeling better soon!
