January 2013 - Baby/Mommy Club!

Hi there ladies!

I just found out i am about 4-5 weeks pregnant! A big shock to us - we had come off the pill in March and was waiting for my period to start. Once it had started we were going wait 2-3 cycles as per the doctor's recommendations... and now we have sorted jumped the gun!

Praying that everything goes well! I am choosing to remain positive that everything will be fine. Think we will only be going to the doc around the 15th of June... want to wait long enough for the heartbeat to show etc...

BTW: i live in PTA, Gauteng and have a little girl who turns two in July... So the age gap between the two is much shorter than what we planned...

All in God's plan hey!

Ek is so bly ek het hierdie oulike thread gevind. Is al 'n rukkie lank deel van die blad maar nooit aktief betrokke nie.

Ek is vandag 8 weke en 4 daggies swanger met ons eerste babatjie. Op die 6 weke 2 daggies sonar was hy/sy 5.2mm en alles het goed gelyk maar ons kon nog nie 'n hartkloppie sien nie (net 'n eksterne sonar). Oor 2 weke gaan ek vir my 10 weke scan en hopelik kan ons dan die hartkloppie sien. My laaste BETA op 5weke3dae was 12866 so ek is darem nie te bekommerd nie.

Morning sickness kry my nog erg onder en ek is doodmoeg! Op die stadium werk ek voltyds en swot ook so alles raak soms te veel.

Hopelik kan ek baie vriendinne hier maak en sommer baie lekker gesels!

Ons scan het baie goed gegaan. Ons het die hartjie hoor klop. Gynie is baie gelukkig, en se alles lyk goed. Ditjie is net bietjie kleiner as wat ons gedink het. volgens die scan is ek nou 6 weke 5 dae. Maar ek is nou baie rustiger oor alles, nou dat ek weet alles lyk goed.

So glad to hear everyone's pregnancies are being confirmed by scans of healthy heartbeats!

I am struggling with something far worse than MS....

SEVERE IRRITABILITY!

I am so bad at the moment & am driving DH nuts and am really struggling to cope with myself let alone expect others to cope. DH said i was quite rude at the paed's yesterday and i feel quite bad, but they did pi$$ me off!

We've also lost the house we rent as we'd put an offer in and due to some stupid technicality we've lost it. Now we have to move again & the costs involved there are no fun!

Today thankfully i'm a bit more cheerful (maybe cause it's my b-day this weekend)... but for the past weeks i've been really short tempered....

Anyone else struggling?

A warm hearty welcome to you! I am sorry to hear that your previous pregnancy didn't go well... I pray that you have a happy and healthy one this time around.
As far as the fatigue goes, nobody warns you about that, they just talk about the nausea and sore (.)(.) I also find that all places and all times are ideal for a nap at this stage.

My Gynie appointment is 15:00 this afternoon. I'm so very super excited to see my little bean and to hear the heart beating. Will come and update as soon as i have access to the internet.
