Morning Ladies

Anthea, I agree, very busy group in deed, hard to follow if you miss a few days...

I had a very strange weekend... first off, i dreamt i was having a boy...

Then i started having cramps saturday night, they are really high up and i'm hoping just a tummy bug... Every time i ate something my tummy would react. I think it was a reaction to a curry i might have eaten. Hoping all ok... Was cramping right till last night but today feel much better.

Nadia you mentioned MS means everything OK... I don't think it's true, cause with my LG i didn't have any MS and even now i barely have anything... I only feel YUK if i don't eat in time... Then that empty tummy makes me feel ill...

Otherwise all good here, just waiting patiently for my next appointment on the 26th...

Shoo - what a busy group we have!

MS not yet worked up to its full force - with my LG it was terrible, all day sickness!!! Couldnt stomach much and had no energy for anything! And the constant tiredness was terrible... its still early days for me (ony going to see our gynae on the 14th of June) so hoping i have a completely different pregnancy to the first one!

Still need to get the hang of this forum thing...

@ juwayraj - all the best with the MS! Really hope it passes soon - mine did at around 5 and a half months....

@Nadia - WOW!!! Twins!!! Thats so awesome hey! Double blessings indeed!

@ snoekie: with our first girl we told everyone from the word go, we decided to the same this time around! Have not quite posted on FB, but most of my family, freinds and work colleagues know! We are staying positive that everything will be fine!

@Bondelq: i feel your pain - was studying full time and working full time for the past 8 years, so through my first pregnancy as well! Right now i have a Master's dissertation to complete Not sure how i am going to manage! All the best with your studies! It can be done hey!

My weekend didn't start to great...I was taken up in hospital as I was dehydrated and put on a drip until saturday. They did a scan and the baby is doing just great!! I am really praying for this MS to blow over now...


No use complaining, lol....Have a great day!

My nausea is better, hope everything is ok with these little babies. Cause i heard that if you're nauseas, then everyhing is going good with the pregnancy. But just one day i woke up, and i dont have nausea anymore.... But i asked God to take it away, so its probably what happend

So MS is here in it's full glory. Was sick yesterday, and again today.

Leabella,
I Have to continue with the Glucophage throughout my pregnancy to avoid gestational Diabetes.
We are also going to try and wait until 12 week mark before telling people outside our emediate family and friends.

Hello ladies,

Snoekie - the scan news is wonderful. We now only differ 2 days in our estimated due dated. When are you seeing the gynea again? Are you still continuing with your Glucophage medication?

Kelz - my morning sickness are subsiding. I am a bit worried about it but I find myself to feel really quezzie late in the afternoons. But I have been taking it really easy and getting into bed early every night. I find that when I am tired the nausea is kreeping up on me.

Cherikey - I thought it was just me. I am so irretable and everyone around me is starting to notice... What can we do?

Bondelq and Anthea08 - welcome, hope you have healthy and happy pregnancies!!!

NadiaSteenkamp - when is your next scan. We eagerly await the news of the twins...

How do you all feel about telling the people around you you are pregnant? Have you decided to wait until 12 weeks or did you wait for the first heartbeat? Or any other significant goal post?

We have decided to wait until 12 weeks. Obviously the people very close to me have noticed that I no longer drink coffee or wine and just knew immediatly. So my brother and his wife as well as two very close friends of mine have noticed and made the right assumption... I have however asked them to keep it quiet until we are comfortable in breaking the news.

Congratulations!!! I'm so happy that everything is going great for you I am now utterly excited for my first scan a week today...this week cannot go quick enough

Nausea seems to have begun for me this morning, but no sickness yet - hopefully wont!
