Kelz - i totally agree! We get to see our little ball for the first time on Thursday - definitely the first time i will be wishing a weekend away! Although with the cold front set to hit Gauteng this weekend i dont mind staying indoors!

And on top of all the M/S i have the flu!  And cant take much for it! Looking forward to just recuperating at home!

The Vomifene really helps to keep the MS under control :cheer: Just the constant hunger that now needs to be managed!

So i havent taken out the maternity clothes just yet - feel too bad as its too early but i have taken out the mummy band - what a relief!!!

The heightened sense of smell can actually drive one insane   All the best with that hey!

Wishing everyone an awesome weekend! And to those in Gauteng - keep warm! DVD's and soup on the menu for my little family!

Good Morning to all the pregnant fairies!

Woohoo it's finally Friday!! I never thought I would wish the weekend away, but this one is the exception....3 more sleeps and we get to see our bubble for the first time!! I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time I could burst
I must be one of the lucky ones..still no M/S (fingers crossed) but lots of nausea! especially around certain smells  I thought they were lying when they said that your senses highten a lot during pregnancy but really I can smell/taste stuff and everyone else around me thinks I'm crazy cause they can't

Anthea: Have you managed to get your M/S under control now? Shame you seemed to be suffering bad there for a while.

Snoekie: I also live in PTA East and I must say its a very nice safe area, so (not sure if you moved already or still are) but welcome anyway!

Nadia: CONGRATULATIONS!! :woohoo: What wonderful news and an absolutely awesome pic! here's wishing you all the best for 2 happy healthy babies!

Welcome to all the newbies! Wishing everyone a happy healthy pregnancy and a great rugby weekend :silly:

@Nadia - so sorry hun, at least the appointment is tomorrow... only one more sleep!!! ;)

@Pamela - Praying for healthy, strong baby for you! Yup - we have all found this page for a reason hey!

Thanks again to Juwayraj for such a good laugh! I nearly pee'd my pants with laughter! And after having a natural birth with my first pregnancy, peeing myself is quite easy these day

Hi ladies

Hope everyone is doing well today...Let me just tell you how my morning started.

Every morning I usually wake up and sit for a while before I finally get up, I would then go to the bathroom and start to puke for a good 20mins. After that I'm usually okay and can get done for work and get the kids done for school....I'm from Cape Town and I travel to and from work by bus...this morning I ran a bit late and decided to take the taxi.
When I got into the taxi I started to feel a bit funny and reached for the plastic bag in my bag ( I always carry one around for just in case)and I started to vomit non-stop and the only lady handed me a tissue while everyone else was staring at me. Then an elderly lady got out at her stop and just as they closed the door behind her this one guy says that he just told the old lady that I was being sick and she asked him if I was pregnant. I am 32 years old but everyone else was clearly thinking Im younger as they were very upset that the lady asked if I was pregnant....LOL. I was puking and gagging so much, I couldnt even get a word out cos I was soooo wanting to tell them that Im infact 32yrs old, has 2 kids and is married for 8 years already!!
Everyone was having this discussion about how people assume that I am pregnant and how wrong it is to make such assumptions...and during all of this I was still busy puking in my little plastic bag wanting to laugh for what was going on around me...

This was so hillarious!!

Have a great day ladies!!
