Entering the second tri-mester

Saying goodbye to hubby who left for a 7 week job at the Olympics...

5) How are you sleeping?
OK... my 2.5yr old is a bit sick, so not too great... feeling quite heavy as well.

6) What is on your list of things to do in the next month re prep for baby?
Stocking up on nappies

7) When is your next appointment?
24th July 2012

8) What is your current craving?
Anything savory, especially salt & vinegar chips (although Doc put me on a low sodium diet)

9) How are you feeling physically?
99% (just short of hundreds)

10) How are you feeling emotionally?
Quite irritable

11) How is your partner dealing with the pregnancy at this stage?
Normal... It's his third child, but our second together so pretty normal for him at the moment.

12) Do you know the sex of your baby yet? And do you have a name finalised?
Will find out sex at next appt, haven't started looking at names.

13) Will you be trying for Natural or Caesar?
Naturally hopefully. Just like my first.

14) Which hospital will you be having your baby at?
Medi Clinic in Pietermaritzburg

15) Wearing maternity clothes?
Yes, especially pants.

16) What is your Tummy measurement?
No Idea.

17) How much does baby weigh/ measure at the moment? (Or at last scan)
Baby measures 49mm at last scan.

18) How much weight have you gained to date?
2kg's

19) Having baby-related dreams?
Nope

20) Stretch marks?
None... YET.

21) What is your nursery room theme?
Depends on what we're having... If it's a girl, she'll share with my toddler & it'll be something good for both of them.

22) Next milestone due?
Next scan.

23) What do you miss?
sushi!

24) What are you looking forward to?
Watching my two kids grow up together... Otherwise, having a bump, oh and the labour...

25) What is the best preggy advice you have been given?
Be patiet, PREPARE YOUR NIPPLES!!!

Hi there Ladies

Almost feeling normal again - still have the odd bout of throwing up. Definitely feel better after that... So 2-3 times a day of throwing up is the norm for me now...

Also had a jam-packed weekend.. My LG had her second birthday party and it was AWESOME! She had a blast!! Then we had another friend's son's party on Sunday... Tired is not the word! At least the MS bhaved itself during the weekend...

My highlight for this week is our scan on Thursday 0 will be just short of 12 weeks... We also have our family photoshoot tonight... Couldnt have it last week cos of bad MS!

@Nadia - i am working... the tiredness is not so bad this time around... i find a walk during lunch really helps and vitathion with breakfast for the day...

Morning Ladies, How was your weekend?

I had a weekend full of family, Hubby's granny was here. Wish i had a weekend full of sleep.

Who of you is still working, and HOW do you cope with tiredness and feeling sleepy all the time??

Well, today i am 13 weeks, and will be seeing our Gynae on friday, me an SIL Hubby wont be here...

Hey ladies,,, hope you all are well. I finally have time to read moomie.... with 1st kiddo around trying to reply to posts wud look like this jfihabfuhriuhwif>>> m glad i finally have some time to waste time on the net.

So here a little info on me and little one to come: (sorry couldnt copy and paste the Qs for some reason)

3. Our scan on Tuesday, little arms and legs.... got me all woozy.
4. A surprise bout of MS this morning and a sore tummy all day.
5. Sleeping well....if it wasnt for little 2yo waking me up twice during the night and early mornings.
6. Not much.... still doin too much for little one.
7. 30 July
8. Sour strip and real cheese beef burgers
9. Physically like I am 8 months preggies, but at least a bit more energy than tri 1!
10. Good days and bad days...
11. Partner and i are not as excited as 1st one. This 1 seriously seems to be having a lack of attention.

Our 12 week scan today, all is well!

4) What has been your preggy low this week?
Having to pack up my house without my hubby.

sleaping in sessions, with a couple of loo runs per night

6) What is on your list of things to do in the next month re prep for baby?
Don't have anything specific planned, but need to start price shopping.

Tomatoes with salt and lemons with salt. anything sour!

9) How are you feeling physically?
MS is subsiding, feeling really tired.

10) How are you feeling emotionally?
Very good, but find that I cry very easily.

11) How is your partner dealing with the pregnancy at this stage?
Very excited, espesially after the scan today.

12) Do you know the sex of your baby yet? And do you have a name finalised?
We don't know the sex of the baby, We decided to wait for baby to be born.

13) Will you be trying for Natural or Caesar?
Natural as far as possible.

14) Which hospital will you be having your baby at?
Wigers Hospital, Pretoria East.

15) Wearing maternity clothes?
Just Started wearing some this week.

16) What is your Tummy measurement?
No Idea.

17) How much does baby weigh/ measure at the moment? (Or at last scan)
Baby measures 63.6mm

18) How much weight have you gained to date?
I've lost 4kg due to MS and healthier eating.

19) Having baby-related dreams?
Been having some in the last week. Most have been very upsetting, I think it is due to stress.

20) Stretch marks?
None... YET.

21) What is your nursery room theme?
Thinking of Tatty Teddy room.

22) Next milestone due?
Next scan.

Looking forward to getting my bump.

Take it easy, rest alot and constantly eat to lessen MS.

I am so sorry that you are still having a hard time with the Morning Sickness!

And for those who feel better regarding the MS...
I too am feeling human again.

AFM,
Went for my 12 week scan today... Was so much fun and very exciting. And now I can finally relax and enjoy the journey.
Gynie is very happy with the babies development:
Length: 63.6mm
Heartrate: 144bpm
Neck fluid: 0.7mm ( apparently it is not allowed to be more than 2.6mm)
nose development: The bridge of the nose is very prominent and well developed.

So all and all, everything is good and no sign of Down's risk.
Baby was very active and doc had a bit of trouble measuring the neck fluid.
