Had such a hectic day today, I see our group is interacting eve more, I like I like

Yeah Maries I might give birth in Jan, but hey you never know with these babies. My older girl came at 36 weeks and little one at 37, so based on that, my boy could be born in Jan

I'm going ala natural, done it twice, so why not

Oh Suhaila I just wish I was you...massage for Mom and baby for 5 days...wouldnt I just love that.

Ahhhhh... Lucky you!

I will have my mum for about a week.

I guess I need to make some serious decisions and weigh the pro's and cons... Not an easy decision!

Maries the only reason why the healing and cut is not a factor for me, is because I will go to my mom's house for a 40 day confinement period. So will have no responsibility and full help for that time. And a much loved tradition I learnt with my first son is my husband's family organise a doula for the first 5 days home for baby's bath and massage and a massage for mum:) no complaints about that tradition from me

Suhaila, I am also having serious disussions with my hubby!
He wants an elective ceaser.... I am really undecided.
I think it will be more difficult to cope with 2 kids with a "cut".... Natural is better and we will heal faster....

Congrats Nixie:) I'm still waiting rather impatiently to find out what I'm having maries I wanted a natural birth with aaqil which I experienced for hours until he went into distress, fear of mecomium and blood started coming out my urethra (14 hours after my water broke at home) and ended up with a drip, an epi (which failed), spinal and emergency ceasar.

Have been reading obsessively about vbacs since then, but when I showed hubby the literature he is totally not supportive of a vbac, saying he begs me not to put him through that anxiety again. So I'm leaning the elective route this time...

Scan next week tues, can't wait:)
