I am also 9 weeks............ but wow still have lotsa hard days.........I have tried everything.

My husband is picking up a motion sickness wrist band up this afternoon..... apparently it helps with morning sickness......... it stimulates the accupunture points for nausea.

The constant hunger aswell so freaking hard! I am literally counting the days until week 12 thats the only thing that keeps me going!!

Hi Blackie and Nixie hope you ladies are well. i had my first scan today, am exactly 9 weeks along had hyperemesis gravidarum in my first pregnancy (Aaqil is 19 months old at the moment) and it was horrible; frequent hospital admissions for dehydration etc.

so far this pregnancy is better would just lots of nausea, but fortunately no vomitting as yet (sjoe)

Am due in the first week of March, but as i had an emergency c section with Aaqil will either have to go into labour naturally by the end of Feb if i want to go the vbac route, or a c-section will take me into mid-feb/late feb anyway:) so i guess this is the thread for me...

Blackie being from KZN the last time i spoke Afrikaans was in matric, so keeping up with fluent conversations is equally difficult for me

Nixie how are you feeling?

I will post pics of scan from next visit as we could hear the heart beat but could not see much just a black blotch ;-(

So a update from my side


Was admitted to Hospital last week for Hyperemis Gravarduim (excuse spelling) severe morning sickness, i was dehydrated. this week is going a bit better . Struglle to do traffic the stop & go mess with my stomach ! I am 8weeks now and 12 weeks seems like a lifetime from now. Not very possitive at the moment with this sickness....

Hi Mommies...

This place is so quiet. My little girl was diagnosed with pneumonia last week, so we spent 3 days in hospital . Not a good feeling seeing your little one sick, I wished I could take the pain for her. But as we know kids are resilient, she's her normal self again and I'm so happy she's eating.

As for the pregnancy, I think the MS is subsiding bit by bit, its not so bad now

Hi Nixie, sorry to hear about the ER stay, but lucky you MS seems to have gone away. Good luck for the scan on Sat, please upload it asap

I still have it bad, cant wait for it to be over. I dont throw up, but the nausea, headache, feeling out of control the whole day are horrible

Hi Zettie, you so lucky hey, you are very lucky. One of a VERY few who dont get MS...I'm very jealous. Mine started @ 4 weeks, but I was unaware it was MS at that time...just noticed constant headaches
