Hi everyone

I firstly apologise for posting this in here.. but I kind of just need to let it out and I am hoping you girls can give me some advise?


I hope you girls don't mind - but I am FUMING as I am typing here. I told my domestic/nanny more than a year ago that she needs to start looking for other work as I need to send my daughter to school in jan 2013. She has been fine with it - but in the last week (her last day with me is 14 December) she has SUCH a bad attitude.. I am honestly scared to leave her alone with my daughter at the house?
My brother in law is staying with us for awhile and yesterday she has the flippin cheek to ask me for extra money because she had to iron 4 pants for him??

I mean seriously?? She also borrowed almost R450 from me - including R180 for a Doctors appointment - which I deducted from her salary. Now she is cross at me for deducting the R180 - as she now all of a sudden claims that she had to go to the Dr that day because she got injured WHILST working for me?

So we ended up having this massive fight this morning and we were both in tears at one stage. So I said to her - she must tell me what she wants to do - so she grabbed her handbag and said she is going to the Doctor she will come in tomorrow.

So I am at work today with my daughter (i have no-one else to look after her)... I called the CCMA this morning (I strongly doubt she is going to the Dr - I think she headed straight for the CCMA) - and they said I must just make sure her UIF is up to date, that I give her a formal letter of termination (which her contract states) and that I mist pay her until 14 Dec - and then she can go immediately...

From her attitude tjhs morning I sommer know that she is going to run to the Dept of Labour or CCMA...What do you girls think? Has anyone ever had a situation like this?

Shame man excited, so sorry about the MS! You can try Asic, its over the counter at the pharmacy... its for morning sickness... helped me feel a little better, but seems it only helps some women.

Cols - So glad to hear your baba's doing well! You must be over the moon!!!

As for me, well not much to report, the progestrone is giving me a runny tummy now... but i guess i can deal with that... last antibiotics this morning! And my morning sickness has pretty much passed, my apetite isn't really back, but at least i don't feel sick!

Excited, my gynae offered me meds for my MS, can your dr not give you something? I get very naar bit not throwing up.

Juandre, shame man, not long now and hopefully ms will subside. Did you get ill like this with your other babies?

I had my scan today and it's looking good. HB was 127 and Im measuring 2 days ahead. I go back in 3 weeks for another scan. FXFX for our sticky little beans. I have a mild bladder infection so have a single dose AB i have to take. I didnt realise I had an infection...

Hi ladies,

This ms is so horrible . Ive been so tired, im sitting in my hotel room (last week of lectures) eating toast ordered from rom service and planing on passing out soon!

I had my scan today. Got to see our bean and hear the heart beat. My gynae had a good chuckle at us being back in his rooms. He will def be tying my tubes when he does the csec. My dates were dead on, baby is due on 7th July.

Exited&Scared.. so sorry about your sever MS. What worked for me in the end was plain old Ginger Beer! Either the one's from Fruit & Veg or the PicknPay brand.
