Juandre - we also did christmas shopping yesterday, just have a few to sort out still as i was completely trashed after an hour at the shops... but luckily nothing too great to finish up with, then i just have to sit and sort and wrap the pressies!

Still need to go buy a tree, but wanted to get the necessary shopping out the way so we could see what was left, hopefully they won't be totally sold out next weekend!!!

Juandre, I am 17 weeks today I also love Xmas, I got all the shopping done in November, so I dont have to fight the crowds

We also put our tree up this weekend, makes everything seem happier !

Oh wow Niki- how many weeks are you again? I can't wait to find out what we are having, since we have three girls it will be so nice to have a boy.

We did all our Christmas shopping yesterday, and I got our real tree this morning. I love Christmas time!!!

Charmi, sorry you not feeling well, its seems to be going around at the moment, the best thing you can do is rest. hope you feel better soon.

We went to the Baby expo on Saturday, stocked up on nappies and took Paige to see Barney, my folks came with us and Barry and my mom couldn't wait until January to find out the sex so we had a 4D scan at the expo and we are having another little GIRL we are pleased:)

Starting to feel a bit more real now, after stocking up on nappies and finding out the sex

How was everyone elses weekend ?

We had a very nice year end function - was a "treasure hunt" and we ended up having dinner at a stunning restaurant - Thank goodness my MS stayed away!

Rest of the weekend was very quiet - spent the entire day in bed. Woke up with massive sinus block yesterday morning and full blown flu today! Came to work - but feeling really yucky - so I might g home later.

2+4- welcome and fingers crossed this will be a good pregnancy. I have an amazing gynae. He practices out of Crompton Hospital in Pinetown. His name is Dr Bassa- he has delivered all three of my babies and is so compassionate, he would definitly have donw tests to see why you seem to miscarry at 16 weeks. I am not sure where you are in Durban but I highly recommend him. He is also within medical aid rates.

Charmi- I am so sorry about your maid. Mine is really irritating me at the moment, I wish she would fins another job but I know she wont.

Niki- there is a blood test you can do that is accurate to find out the sex. It isnt cheap as it is R1000, but the intellitest in R325 and everyone I know that has used it has found out they are having the opposite of what the test says.

We have a Christmas dinner at friends tonight and then tomorrow DH and I are going away for the night, I booked us into a hotel so we can have some us time. Then on Sunday, since the kids will be with my MIL, we are going to do all the Christams shopping.

Niki, yeah sorta, its only 1 runny poo in the morning so its not really a concern... and i finished the antibiotics yesterday so perhaps things will improve. I don't mind, least its not constipation huh?

Sorry your baby was hiding the sex... LOL almost always goes that way huh? you could try an intelligender test (i got mine from dischem), thats 80% accurate... but i would still wait till the gynea confirms before painting or buying anything... lol

2+4 shame man sounds like you have had a horrible time! Welcome here and will keep fingers crossed that this baby stays put! Definately find a new gynea if you are uncomfortable and ask the new one about the brown discharge... perhaps low progesterone?

Charmi, so so sorry about that... worst is you may still end up at the CCMA, but at least you have paid your dues now! Will definately have to start that cake sale... I would also have phone the new employer if i had the details, but if she already has a new employer surely by that alone you can prove she did know she was leaving at the end of december!

Hope the function was amazing! Ours is next friday! Carnival theme... and we qare supposed to dress up... any ideas... lol
