Hi Ladies
It's very quite here.... where are you ladies?

Well friday went very great, i couldn't believe i was graduating, but it's all over now. If i was not preggies, i would be job hunting now.

I have an appointment at the gyna's for the downs, not sure what to expect. With my son i went through the government side of which they don't check for any of those things, i am bit nervous. 12 weeks 4 days, i hope i have not gained much weight, cause with my son i struggled to lose it after wards.

Hello all

The scan went great. My baba is doing really well and have grow very nicely, so we are still right on track 9w4d. And the heartbeat was 150.... The dr was very happy and said the bleeding will probably continue until week 12 when the uterus take over the hormone production.

Stellak she is my little angle and let me tell you she knows its her bday today. She tells every one to sing to her. Love her to bits...

Goggatjie how will you cope with waiting that long? My next appointment is end of October with the dr in JHB. My sister will organise everything for me.

I unfortunately can not scan my pic, so took a photo of it. Sorry if the quality is bad.

I started having some heartburn and yesterday I actually fell asleep at work 2 times luckely nobody saw me (i hope)

Otherwise I am doing great, feel a bit nauseas, but otherwise I am fine.

Eating was horid yesterday, was very hunger, but feeling better today.
Weighed on Monday and have not picked up any weight yet.

I have made my appointment with my Midwife, and will see her in Nov.

Sjoe ja, family hey!!! But Im not stressed about them. I am very excited about my little baba, and can't wait till April 2014 to meet him/her.

I had such a laugh today. I took my lg who turns 2 tomorrow to pick a present at the mall, and she chose a new born baby doll. Because she also want to be a mamma. It is so cute to watch her with this doll, who she named Bebie. She is going to be a awesome big sister.

I will come update tomorrow as soon as I have returned from the dr. I am lucky with my dr. When our medical run out and we have to pay ourself, then it is only R300 for the consult and the scan is free. And I get a scan with every consult every 4 weeks. Guess I won't find a dr like him again in Limpopo or PTA.

Sorry for being so scares. My boss left for USA yesterday and it was just hectic. I was actually busy typing a message last week and had to leave to do some urgent work.

MS was MUCH better last week, just had a very "weird" feeling. started to make some dinner and tackled the fridge, but that soon changed when on Sunday I felt so terrible and yesterday vomited twice at work. My nose actually started bleeding from all the pressure. it was the most terrified feeling at work (no hubby nearby to comfort). Had very bad indigestion last night all the way home and the rest of the evening as well.

Feeling better today, but still need to watch what I eat. have a constant craving for coke though (and usually not someone that likes soft drinks).


9 weeks and 1 day today and counting the days until next scan. cant wait to see what these 2 are up to.

Having our housewarming at end of the month, so wanted to paint and do some renovating finishing touches, but that unfortunately also needs to wait now, I bet good friends wont care if some paint is missing.

Jay - I have some guidelines for you, I am only on a hospital plan, so have to pay for all the scans cash. the general going rate (CT) is about between R1050 and R1450. some scans like the 12/13 week Down syndrome and the 20 week diagnostic scans cost a little more (1450). for the rest basically it is about 500 for consultation and 500 for the scan. You can call your DR and just ask for the cash price.

We also need to pay in for the actual birth, as the medical aid only covers a certain % of the gynae, narcissist, paediatrician etc. And that is after not getting a salary for 4 months. with my current situation it seems I might be going on bed rest from 7 months already. We will be able to get a clearer picture at next scan in October.

Santie - I know how you feel. my best friend, currently overseas weren't so very excited about my news because they are trying to start a family for about a year now. I was so worried telling her, but I suppose there is a plan for everyone and you cant take someone's most valuable time away just because of your own situation. So please enjoy every moment and try not to let anyone take away your most valuable time.

Cant wait to see everyone's scan pics.
