Welcome Mum2Be

jinxedsa - It's already been a day since the last post LOL ok, ok, time is not really going that quick.

I'm feeling bloated today, unbuttoned my jeans in the car this morning and it felt amazing, currently sitting the same way at my desk - and a bit guilty. We just had a baby shower here at work and I ate a cocktail chicken pie and had a glass of Cabana juice which is not on my eating plan...I'm overweight so every little bit counts and I want to be healthy. So drinking lots of water now to get over that feeling, which in turn does not help with the frequent visits to the ladies

Hi everyone!
So excited to be in the same boat as yours! Pregnancy is such a wonderful thing, even while typing this message, battling to stay away and to keep heartburn at bay I am the happiest woman alive! I am just over 7 weeks, due 14 October 2014. Expecting my first! Just made an appointment with Christene van der Heerden at Milnerton Mediclinic, anyone know her? First appointment is on 10 March. Other than a single bad case of MS, things are not going bad. Exhaustion, lack of appetite, mild heartburn at times and frequent urination seems to be the biggest of my worries.
Lalie12 - what did your doctor say about the results? Perhaps discuss it with her/him? I know how it feels to be consumed with worry though- Good luck I hope everything goes well!

Momzee - congrats on the 12week mark, it must be a great feeling.

Gain-a-baby: :cheer: yeah my appointment is a little bit before yours, but being on a 2 week watch with my Dr. up until now, it now seems forever.
Just can't wait.

Giggles: congrats on week 9, I'm also already switching to maternity clothes,
wish I could take 6 months maternity leave.

Hi Ladies,

Momzee it must be awesome to hit the 12 week mark.

How are all the other ladies doing?

AFM: I have entered my 9 weeks today. My tummy is protruding, clearly visible to everyone.

I told my boss at work this week, that went well. I will go on 6 or 7 months maternity leave.

Had my appointment yesterday and I am now 10w and 3d and everything still looks good. It's the first time I've gone past the 9w mark so I'm thrilled.

Gain-a-baby - Congrats on the 6 week mark, I'm also crossing my fingers for you, my M/S only started at week 6 and it was terrible until this week, I had it the whole day long, now I only get it in the evenings.
My next appointment is on the 25th March I agree it's still so far away.

Lalie12 - As far as I know the Beta HCG levels doubles every 48 - 72 hours until they drop down and level off after around 8 to 11 weeks.
I am no expert on this matter but I would think that as long as the levels went up it's fine. (With my very first test mine was something like 449 and 4 days later it reached over 1500 more than doubled)
