sugar-and-spice don't panic, it all depends on your body. Everyone is allowed to gain baby weight up to a certain amount, as long as it's healthy weight and not the dreaded "eating for two" myth. As women we have insecurities about our weight to begin with so that doesnt help!

I was also thinking of using one of those companies for U IF. ..Luckily I get paid for 3 months of maternity leave. I'm sure we'll all be fine and get by! Don't worry sugar and spice and definitely no stressing ok!

I picked up 3 kg so far I feel like it's way more tho. Sigh

I called Standard bank today, they will let me know by the 15th July if the payment holiday has been accepted. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I am using a company called Sweetdreams to help with the UIF claim. You pay R500 once off and they take care of everything.

I am just hoping that we manage to make ends meet during my maternity leave.

Another worrying aspect is my weight gain how many kilos have you ladies picked up so far?

Hey ladies,

I just came back from my DR's appointment and it's confirmed we are team Blue. I'm just so happy we have the green light on all our tests.

We are now 19 weeks and 4 days, I'm so delighted.

Congratulations to all of us for making it thus far and keeping strong.
