I'm hoping for a pain free birth....be that natural or c-section LOL Is that asking too much? Also only taking 4 months maternity as the cost of not working is giving me anxiety at the momentm I don;t know what I'm going to do! I'm enquiring about freezing my policies for those four months and so far Liberty Life says it can't be done. Fingers Crossed though.

Hi Ladies,

I have no plans for after birth as I just got retrenched this passed Friday but I'm not allowing it to stress me after having had such a difficult journey getting to this point in my pregnancy.

I started feeling the baby move in week 17 and lately the kicks are getting stronger and stronger. Have my next appointment on the 3rd of July, I can not wait, the Dr said she was 90% sure it was a boy at our last visit.

Back to the work situation.

I am hoping for natural birth. So when it gets closer to the time i will discuss with gynae when i should stop going to work (Obviously dont want my water breaking at work! Yikes!). Then i will be on 4 months maternity leave. Hubby is currently working out his months notice, as he has been gotten a better offer. We still need to find out what his paternity benefits are. How about you?

Called Mediclinic, Its R700 per day for private room, and R1600 for VIP room. Dads are allowed to stay over in VIP rooms.

Aww so cute! I can't wait to see my little one on Friday! ! I'm just so nervous that he/she's not gonna open legs for me!

That really sucks. Probably up to whatever is available on the day.

I am 18 weeks, 3 days. Our little jellybean is growing nicely.
He was 18cm (head to toe) at 17 weeks already

I have heard that we cannot pre-book the private rooms, which sucks

Now that nausea seems to finally be gone for good, I am attempting to eat healthier.
