Hi Ladies,

Am the only one or is morning sickness a thing of the past?

Now I feel more hungry and less nauseated, its till there but after I eat i can forget about for an hour or so and its back. today its 7weeks and 5/6days.

But my boobs are on fire, they are super heavy and painful.

Thats wonderful to know, I'm going in at 11 weeks so I should be able to see the miracle of life playing around as well. I can not wait...

How is everyone's morning sickness my symptoms seem to be getting lighter and I can eat some things as well.

I hope it stays this way and goes away very soon, i have exams in May as well can't afford to be still feeling this way.

Hi Pearlyglaze - i am 9 weeks and 3 days. The hands and legs looked more like stubs but i could see them move clearly
the LO was quite active actually!

@ PeytonsMum, Congratulations.

How far along are you? If you are around 7 or 8 and could already see legs and arms then I cant wait for next scan 1st week of may as I will be around 11 weeks.

Jesus I cant wait, I think I'll go in at around 12 weeks. I hear the 12 weeks scan is amazing.

@sugar-and-spice @Pearlyglaze - so glad that both your scans went so well!
That feeling of seeing the baby and hearing the heart beat for the very first time is priceless.

I went for my first scan yesterday - i have literally being counting the days since i made the appointment and my little girl and DH joined me.

I could see my LO move his arms and legs and jump about - and my little girl was called in to see this as well. She was so impressed she wanted to know if he could come out now so that she could hug him

I am so pleased i change gynae's - I am now with Dr Christine van Heerden at Milnerton Medi Clinic. She was really amazing, very thorough and explained everything so well and in detail.

I took a list of questions (i wrote it down everything i thought of something - it's often difficult to remember everything when you are there) and when i look at the list, she had answered every single one without me even asking it!

The other very re-assuring bit was that she was totally prepared to go the VBAC route with me - i had an emergency c section with my first birth after a failed induction.

She said that i am in control of my pregnancy and that if i have any concerns questions, i must just call her.

I need to see her again in 6 weeks time, but i have a business trip in between so will probably only be in about 7-8 weeks time - can't wait!!

I went for my scan yesterday and meant to update you guys but this morning sickness makes a person so unfriendly.

I dont even wanna speak to anyone at the office or home for that matter. crazy if you ask me.

Update: I'm 6 weeks and 4 days today as i went for scan yesterday and the lovely Dr said I'm 6 weeks and 3 days, I'm calling her the lovely Dr as she is the 1st Dr to show me my baby's heart beat in the last 6 times I've been pregnant.

So we had to look for the baby and finally found the baby and all is well and the I wanted to cry when I heart the sound of the baby's heart beating.

The joys of life....

I'm happy you also found a heart beat, my due date is 23rd Nov....

I can't wait.

Hey ladies, went for our scan today. Im only 6 weeks and 5 days - as apposed to the the 8 weeks i thought i was. Due date has now changed to 22nd November. Doctor showed us his teeny tiny heart flickering. Was amazing. He said little Jellybean is perfectly situated in the womb and has a healthy heartbeat. Next appointment is at almost 12 weeks. How exciting!!
