sugar-and-spice Not too long now I have an appointment this afternoon at 4pm, my Dr will let me know (TMI after an internal check up) if I should check in to hospital on Thursday evening or Friday morning as scheduled for induction.

I've been reading up on natural birth after induction and most women report back on having a c-section instead. they do however also say that it's not as bad and they are just glad their baby is ok. I am for sure heading into this with the same attitude, what must be will be

I have my hospital stuff all laid out on the compactum, reading to be packed into the bag. Every time I think of something else I add it to the pile.

I have another appointment on 28th Oct, Doc will then let me know if we can go ahead with the natural birth as planned. Holding thumbs for that!

Hey ladies, it's finally October!!! Super excited.
My induction is booked for 10 October, my next gynae app will determine whether I go in on Thursday night or Friday morning. She'll check my cervix and everything, hopefully I can have my last snooze with hub on Thursday and in my own bed.
LB weighed 2947grams on Tuesday. My wright came down by 800 grams.

Went to the doctor on Saturday Baby boy is 2.2kgs already!
I am still at work, will check with gynae at next appointment when i should leave. I will be 36 weeks then! Exciting times!

Since I am also a member of the Sept/Oct thread I will paste my last reply:

I had my appointment on Tuesday and all is well with me and baby. Dr says she will induce me on 10th October. the choice of how I want to give birth is still to be decided, being a first timer, how do I make this decision? I thought that because of my gestational diabetes, they will book a scheduled c-section but Dr also said that my baby is not overweight so natural is possible which scares me a little.

My last day at the office is 30th Sept Two weeks plus a public holiday to go.

How are the rest of the soon to be mommies doing?

My DD changed from 24th October to 10th October due to my gestational diabetes, baby has a chance of being to big so as a precaution they will do a c-section on the 10th, must say I'm ok with that decision.
