RonelleB - I had that the last couple of days before I went into labour. My midwife said that if it is amniotic fluid then it will constantly leak out and not come and go. She said it is a watery discharge. I know, it is very watery...like you say. I was going through underwear and pads like crazy...
But perhaps give your doc a call this morning to be on the safe side.
So excited that you will be having your baby soon!! Thinking of you!! xx

Morning ladies!

Me again!.. So last night when still trying to fall asleep I was 'woken' by a feeling of wetting my panties slightly (sorry if TMI!) I went to the loo had a wet panty but it did not gush or keep flowing like all the articles mention. Throughout the night whenever I had to get up for a wee I had a slight wetness in my panties...

I am not sure if this means my water broke? I am not having any contractions, not even BH. I am going for the induction tonight so I'm not sure if I should wait it out or call the doc in the morning?

Newbie_ nice to hear from you! You take to pregnancy and being a mum like a fish to water it seems

Gloei_ thanks also for the insight and kind words. Hope you get that thrush sorted... I've been on probiotics now for last 2 months as midwife suggested it as a good preventative measure.

Gloei, sorry about the thrush amd that your are taking so long to heal it was the same for me with my first birth so i feel your pain my friend. But yay to baby steps amd each day being better than the one before. Sorry about your little girl struggeling its hard to see them go through seasons where they have to unfortunately grow through it by themselves... mommies love to intervene and save them. I know she will settle soon i her own little heart and in the meantime i am praying for yours ♡

Hi RonelleB - Sorry for not replying earlier, I was reading up and still wanted to reply but I am glad you have made your decision and that you and hubby are joined together.
What is most important is that you feel that you have weighed up all the options and understand all the risks involved with all the options available to you and that you don't feel forced into something you are not comfortable with.

After much deliberation and speaking to the doc we have elected to try having our wish for a natural birth via the induction. Rather to try than not at all. So now we'll wait, have to be at hospital at 8pm tomorrow for them to administer the Cervidil...

Again thanks for all the support! I really really appreciate it. Will rest nicely tomorrow, make sure all is in place to go to hospital and return to some form of organised chaos post the LO's arrival And perhaps have a nice meal somewhere cosy with hubby before we go in

That's to say if by some miracle she does not surprise us tonite

a friend of mine was induced at 40 wks and she had a nvd that afternoon. Most times an induction doesnt work if your cervix and baby are not ready to come out. My advice would be to induce and try rather not at all. If it was super urgent your gynea would have not let you go an hour more let alone an induction option more than 24hrs later. Try and at least you know you tried if you end up with a cs. I will be praying for you, not all inductions end in cs, most end in cs because they are done way too early like in my case at less the 38wks with my first , especially since i only went into labour 40+ only with my second. Praying for you. Please keep us posted.

As always, you're welcome to chirp! Long time since we've heard from you in the April group... Thanks for your insight, I must admit I am still considering the induction option as I think that if the dr's see that baby is taking serious strain they will intervene with CS anyway. I will just ask my dr again when I phone him later to be sure that all is still OK if I wait for induction tomorrow night. I was meaning to ask how far along you are and if all is OK still? I have been checking in on the Mei / Junie group you have going and if I'm not mistaken you were finishing work this week?
