I think the Heartburn is now replacing the past morning sickness but will rather deal with heartburn that morning sickness. I'm at 14 weeks and still have only been to the GP and I'm panicking. Does anyone know good Gynae on the East Rand (Boksburg/Benoni area)?

Congrats ladies :-)

I am taking the Chela-Preg and mumomega. I tired the preg-omega with my last pregnancy but have difficulty swallowing the pills.
The chela-preg goes down much better.

I don't have any cravings and not eating a lot either, just eat when I am hungry.

Is anyone suffering from heartburn as yet? I do when I eat spicy food, need ot cut down on that...

Ontong, I also think you don't have to use your previous gynea. Where do you live?

Congratulations Nixy, can just think that you are very excited about the pregnancy! I am the same as you, did not really had any morning sickness, and was so stressed out before our 12week scan., thinking that something was wrong. What a relief to see a jumping baby in there!

Ontong, so glad to hear that your morning sickness has passed! I didnt know that GP's also does scans etc. maybe it will be good to move on to a gynea now, as you can start to build a relationship and the dr can monitor your pregnancy? You def do nof have to go back to your previous gynea...

I am taking Solgar's prenatal, and 'The Real Thing's' omega 3. I was on PregOmega Plus, but it just felt asif it wasnt good quality vits, so I switched and am sooo happy with Solgar.

I am craving sweet things, and carbs - and I lived without these for a few years - now its all I want  Had and Tinkie earlier this week  haha! last had those in primary school! RLly trying not to eat unhealthy, but just cant help it! Haha!

Hope you have a great weekend, ladies!

Hey Ladies,

I'm In week 13/14 now and so glad most of the terrible morning sickness is past. Also on Pregnavit M. Have had my second scan last week and saw baby heart beat and little head so cute. I haven't seen a Gynae yet just been going to my GP. From When does one need to go to Gynae? Don't really want to go to my previous Gyane cos I had bad experience with the birth of my first born and he is not a very friendly chap. Also need to still tell my Boss and im having nightmares!!! so freaked out cos I know how insensitive some bosses can be abt these things since all the care about it the time you will be off work and finding a replacement. And im starting to show so will need to tell her soon.
I have not been having any cravings at all. Not a craving type just drinking ice cold water.

Hi Ladies!

I'm due the 25th of July. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2013 so we thought I'd never be able to fall pregnant! I'm with a new gynae now and he says the results from that show that I probably never even had PCOS to begin with

I haven't had any morning sickness (touch wood) and kept panicking that something was wrong... but everything is fine :cheer:

Have had cravings for very odd things but the cravings seem to disappear and be replaced with new ones. One minute I want salty mashed potatoes and the next I want to eat bags and bags of Flings! Lately I just want granadilla ice creams. I thought I'd have one particular craving and stick with it!

Does anybody take Pregnavit M? I've been taking it since we found out, but I'm not sure if it has everything I need in it?

Nicole x

Hi Maries,

Congratulations on the little boy! How exciting! Sure your daughter will enjoy him just as much ;)

The drs didnt look for the 3 lines, they looked at the angle of the genital tubercle, it was less than 30degrees, thats why they both said it was a girl. I am very excited about it, but I know its not set in stone...

Any one else went for their scans yet?

Enjoy you day ladies!
