Thanks Bellyhearts. Also for the tips ons the creams. I started using palmers coaco butter cream but then about 4 weeks ago I couldn't stand the smell of chocolate so not using it anymore. now I'm using bio oil but are looking for something better. Luckily no stretch marks so far.. i'll have a look at your suggestions. hope your headache gets better quickly. Do you know of any other approved painkiller that we may use. my dr only reccommended panado and it doesn't always help.

I haven't had nausea this entire week, touch wood!
I have been stuggling with headaches the past couple of days, panado just doesn't seem to help, but would rather have headache than nausea!

For all the ladies that are interested, I have tried two creams to prevent stretch marks so far. I've tried mama mio belly butter, which is amazing and keeps you hydrated all day, but it is expensive. I have bought a new one yesterday from dischem on recommendation from a surgeon. It is called Dermastine, I am in love with it. You need to use it twice a day, it's hydrating and dries quickly. It spreads very well, so you don't use a lot either.

Morning Ladies - good luck with the heartburn, i've read that gaviscon is the safest. I also had heartburn a few days ago but i think the cause was provitas. The dr told me spicy food may cause heartburn - but I've been craving tabasco sauce and luckily haven't had any heartburn due to it. I'm feeling better today - still slight pain and headache but much better than yesterday. 1 week then we'll see our little one.

I had heartburn yesterday as well and went to pharmacy, they told me the safest to take is gaviscon.

Thanks StellaK and Daerhel. I will monitor and act if things get worse. Can't wait to feel our little one move. Im in my 12th week now. So almost done with the first trimester. No one can see my bump but I can def see it and already feel big. Not a lot of people know - they'll probably realise in a few weeks when i start to show. Thanks for the advise and hope the morning sickness gets better StellaK. I've realised as long as I eat or drink something i'm not nauseas. I eat the whole day.. but small things like pretzels, popcorn or fruit drops.

Well, it started the Friday. i noticed that whenever my bladder was full I'd have sharp pains in my stomach, and I'd had a headache on and off for a couple of days. I didn't have any pain or discomfort when going for a wee, but i definitely felt better afterwards. By Saturday morning the pain was not only in my belly but in my back as well, almost like contraction pain, but just unending. It was awful!
This is my 3rd pregnancy, but i don't remember ever going through something like this before. With my 2 girls, the eldest (now 13) all my contractions were in my belly, and with the younger (now 11) in my back.
This was almost like having both all at once!

All i can recommend is that if there is anything at all that seems off or wrong to you or even if you're unsure, phone your dr and ask his/her advice.
He may want you to come in just to check and be sure.
Baby's health depends on yours, so whatever you do, baby comes first.
