Morning!

We had our appointment yesterday - baby is perfect! Heart beat is 173bpm at already 2.5cm crown to rump.

I am back to at work today - thanks for the support!

Baie dankie! Dit beteken die babatjie sukkel om te heg, wat 'n miskraam tot gevolg kan he Maar ek het mooi stil gele die hele week en weet sommer alles sal ok wees.

if you don't mind me asking, what does it mean when baba struggle to hedge? (sorry, not so clued up on the english terms)

had 3 good days without morning sickness before the weekend, but then the weekend was terrible so much so that i lost a whole kg over the weekend.
so finally my appointment week has arrived - felt like ages. sooooooo looking forward to thursday

Just quickly as I'm at work

Happy face I was on cyclogest with my first for the full first trimester due to contractions from 6 weeks and threatened miscarriage.

With this one I was on it again until a few days ago due to having received fertility treatment to get pregnant.

Progesterone thickens the lining and helps support/maintain a pregnancy. The placenta will naturally produce enough progesterone from 12 weeks but sometimes the body needs a little extra help before that.

Hi ladies!

Its been a tough couple of days on my side. On Tuesday morning I had a brownish discharge, I immediatoy went to the doctor. Everything is fine with the baby, healthy heart beat of 161bpm. But baby is struggling to hedge. So I have to lay on my back for the rest of the week and am taking Cyclogest for a month. Follow up again on Monday or Tuesday.

Has anyone experience this before or know what the Cyclogest (progesterone) actually does? I am also struggling with heartburn and was sick twice today. Which I think is a good thing, means baby is still growing! (And hanging there!)
