daerhal i totally agree with you. as long as they healthy and have 10 fingers and 10 toes i dnt care if its a boy or girl, i guess thats just the way a mom is , he has his heart set on a boy n i dnt have the heart to tell him anything, i just say what god wills is what we will have

Have never heard of determining the gender via blood test, if so that's very exciting!

I have a list of questions written down, so hopefully we will be able to get to it, I know I'll be way to distracted with the screen too!

maybe he is, but i seriously feel so much more comfortable with him then my previous gynae, and my previous gynae was a female, he sat down with my husband privately and explained everything to him and took time to walk us through everything. my previous gynae told me due to the fact that i am slightly overweight i will never fall pregnant and i need to go for an op for my PCOS she did a vaginal scan and everything, she didn't even pick up i was nearly 5 weeks pregnant. that scared me but luckily my doc now told me to stick to glucophage for the cysts and folic acid, when i c him next month, he myt put me on vitamins if my nausea subsides by then.

my doc told me thou 1st pregnancy rarely carry till the EDD its usualy 2 to 3 weeks before the time so i dinno what to do. i think it finally sunk in thou that we gonna be parents, last nyt the hubby sat with the scan and said nothing for about half an hour, he just stared at it

Don't worry too much Ayesha. My eldest was born exactly on her due date and my second 5 days earlier. Both born naturally.
It all depends from person to person, and how quickly baby grows.
Both my girls weighed in at 2.5kg and were roughly same size 48cm and 45cm.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a boy, but really it doesn't matter as long as baby is happy and healthy.

Ayesha your doc is smoking something! Most first babies go over their due date even up to 2 weeks and sometimes you'll even need to be induced as labour doesn't begin on its own!!

I had a couple of questions, but forgot everything and just starred at the screen. It is so amazing!

We wanted to ask if it will be save to have intercourse again - but we will wait until the 1st trimester is over just for incase.

He prescribed Asic for the nausea and said for now I only need to take folic acid in the evenings. No vitamins yet. Speaking about nausea - I felt wonderful this morning, untl about 15 minutes ago -the it just hit me.
