Hi ladies!

What a wonderful experience! I can't stop looking at baby's little picture!

I even struggled to sleep last night because of all the excitement, and dreamt all night about the scan! It is the most wonderful thing ever!

I received a dvd with the footage of the sonar, but when we wanted to watch it last night again - the dvd was blank. I realy hope they keep back ups! Trying to get hold of the receptionist as we speak!

I was one day out - I am 8 weeks today. (I thought I will be 8 weeks on Saturday). Our EED is 28 Aug. Baby is 1.38cm and heart beat of 147bmp!

My hubby was amazed by the fact that there is this tiny little baby growing in me. He was saying "unbelievable" the entire time!

but i am pleased to announce my baby measures at 2.53 cm
i am 9 weeks pregnant n my scan estimates my due date at 20 august 2015, so i was only 2days off in my calculations. babas heart beating at 180BPM and is officially the most beautiful sound i have ever heard.

what a nice surprise Happyface. a full bladder gives you a very clear view on the screen. you will hear the heartbeat and might start to distinguish the head from the body.
cant really think of a question to ask. think if there is something you are not sure about.

enjoy it, that first scan is one of the most special moments of your life.

Enjoy your scans today ladies!!

Before 12 weeks you'll have a vaginal scan so no need for a full bladder. At 12 weeks they like a full bladder as it's an abdominal scan and the bladder pushes the uterus upwards making it easier to view.

You should see the heartbeat. No specific questions to ask really!
