Twinkle, thanks for recommending Emex, hubby got me some from pharmacy, couldn't keep it down the taste and smell are horrible. I took some more today and all good so far!

Ayesha, hubby is sooo excited. He has been amazing and supportive and more protective than ever. He just cannot wait to see baby on scan next week.

Are any of you taking vitamins or supplements yet? I am taking a multi vitamin and folic acid. Will ask dr next week if there is something else I should be taking.

i got the big BFP surprise on Saturday after vomiting all over a parking lot sooo glad i wasnt in the shops already.
this is such a surprise for me as i'm still breastfeeding my 1st baba and was on microval.
so i went for bloods this morning and HCG is sky high - definately past 6 weeks but i think i might be closer to 8 weeks already. at this stage im guessing an august baby
unfortunately i could only get a gynie app 29 Jan. so still a whole month to wait to see this little darling

since saturday i have constant morning sickness not nice at all

twinkle, my gp gave me that, i smelt it and that was the end of emex lol i threw up everything.

i only told my gran, aunt and my bro. they are over the moon, i cant wait to hear the heart beat.

the morning sickness is the worse coz it hits me at the weirdest of times, surprisingly, I use to suffer from motion sickness but this weekend we went to Durban and i was fine. i cant explain how weird it feels thou. hows the hubby taking it belly?

Hello CONGRATS on your BFP ladies... you can drink EMEX for the morning sickness.... just a tip it does not taste good at all but the Dr told me to put it in the fridge then it will taste better

We've also only told my mom and dad, my brothers and friends don't know yet. It does get difficult to keep it so secret as I've been so sick, especially this time of the year when friends and family are visiting and everybody wants to see each other.

My morning sickness is constant and it actually keeps me up at night, do you have the same problem? I have had about 2 or 3 good days in December though. I am terrified of getting into a car, I feel much worse when driving.

It is so exciting that your appointment has been brought forward to the 15th, mine is on the 16th and am looking forward to hearing how yours went. I feel that once I see baby and hear the heartbeat I can start to get excited. I also won't mind telling more people then, as your risk of miscarriage decreases to 5%.

It is a relief to be able to talk to ladies going through the same thing

meags i have read about your struggle since i joined the forum and i am so happy you are getting your happy ending. lets keep updated with each others pregnancy. it feels so awesome to have people to share this time with especially with them goin through pregnancy with me.
